The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Adam Newman’s recast and live return open up a big possibility for The Moustache. Victor (Eric Braeden) will do whatever he can to earn back the trust of his family. Unfortunately, all of that hard work may be for nothing. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) just can’t overlook what Victor did to their family. Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) also feel like this betrayal is downright unforgivable.
Victor recently met with Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) once again. He gave her money to vanish in hopes of making his problems go away. Of course, this move could come back to bite Victor. If Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) or someone else finds her, Chloe may sing like a canary. If Chloe’s going down, she’s taking Victor down with her.
Luckily, there’s still a way for Victor to make amends with the Newman clan. It turns out Adam Newman (last played by Justin Hartley) didn’t perish in the explosion. The Young and the Restless is recasting the role of Adam, which means he’ll make a stunning Y&R return down the road.
Adam’s survival could take some of the pressure off Victor. He’s been struggling with a tremendous amount of guilt over his son’s death. Victor brought Chloe back into the picture and that led to disaster. Chloe is obviously a dangerous woman. Victor trusted her when he shouldn’t have and he got burned.
Before the blast, Adam shared some touching moments with his father. Once he’s home where he belongs, Adam may stand up for Victor. He may encourage his family members to let go of the past. Adam has been given his umpteenth chance at life, so Victor deserves a shot at making things right.
If Adam has been in hiding for whatever reason, he may understand Victor’s attempt to cover up his actions. Adam knows what it’s like when secrets take control. He’s found himself drowning in deception on more than one occasion.
Even if Adam has been lost with amnesia or held against his will, he could still defend his dad. Since Adam has made his fair share of mistakes, he might cut Victor a break. Whatever the case, the fact that Adam is alive will certainly help with Victor’s redemption arc. It won’t be long until Victor is officially welcomed back to the family.
Do you think Adam will urge the rest of the Newmans to forgive and forget? Does Victor deserve a clean slate? We’ll give you updates as other Young and the Restless news comes in. Stay tuned to Y&R and be sure to check CDL often for the latest Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news.
