The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and Kevin (Greg Rikaart) will be getting remarried in the near future, as recent on-set Y&R Twitter wedding pictures verify. However, the Bella (Cali May Kinder) paternity reveal will play prominently into this couple’s realized nuptials. As the image shows, Scotty (Daniel Hall) is looming in the background of the Chancellor mansion scene setting, which means that the current $10 million ransom crisis will be resolved favorably.
Kevin has loved Chloe for a long time. Miss Priss is fond of Kevin and did love him, when it was convenient for her to do so a few years ago. However, those supposed feelings never overrode her obsession with Billy (then played by the great Billy Miller).
Prior to leaving Genoa City nearly three years ago, Chloe stole Billy’s DNA sample from an obviously unsecured laboratory. Speaking to herself and therefore the audience, this kooky bird said that she was going to have herself artificially inseminated in order to give birth to a second daughter that was as close to a carbon copy of Delia (Sophie Pollono) as was possible. Yes, Esther (Kate Linder) is a few marbles short, but her offspring Chloe is just plain wacky.
Savvy Young and the Restless viewers are known to call balls and strikes, as they should. So recent dialogue drops that have allowed various characters to point out the similarities between Delia and Bella can basically be squared if, in fact, Scotty proves to be Bella’s daddy. That situation apparently would have happened while Chloe was supposed to be receiving deeply (and still) needed mental health treatment in California.
Scott is Lauren’s (Tracey Bregman) son. Billy (now played by Jason Thompson) is Jill’s (Jess Walton) son. Lauren and Jill are half-sisters. Based on those genetic connections, Bella could reasonably resemble Delia using that different male genetic starting point. It also makes sense that Chloe would have targeted someone who share’s Billy’s bloodline since Billy couldn’t be the source himself.
Meanwhile, Kevin retains Y&R’s poor schmuck prize. Manipulated by this feline up, down, backwards and sideways. All rigid daytime dreamers who choose to believe that men hold all patents on scheming are once again proven wrong through this female-driven storyline.
Kevin loved Delia as his own. He understandably believed that Bella could be his first-born child. However, even after receiving the negative results of a requested paternity test, he still choose to embrace self-centered Chloe’s second-born daughter and then opted to marry her mom (again). Oh Kevin, you can do so much better.
How long will Kevin allow Chloe to wipe her feet across his soul?
