The Young and the Restless (Y&R) comings and goings spoilers reveal the fate of a fan-favorite. Also, Hunter King updated Y&R fans as to where she has been but not when they can see her return as Summer to Genoa City. Read below for the details!
Hunter King, the actress who plays Summer Newman, posted to her Instagram account an update. She revealed that she has been busy with Life in Pieces and is excited about starting to film the show again. She doesn’t mention The Young and the Restless anywhere in her Twitter or Instagram account. Will she make time for Y&R soon or will CBS recast the role? Several fans asked her Y&R related questions but Ms. King declined to even answer them.
Greg Rikaart, the actor who plays Kevin Fisher, returns to Y&R during the week of September 18 just a few weeks after he announced his departure. Christian LeBlanc posed in a picture with Rikaart and caption the image, “Brotherly love” in early August. The fans have been anxiously awaiting his return. Young and Restless spoilers indicate that Rikaart will appear for the remainder of 2017 for a juicy storyline.
Beth Maitland returns in early October as Traci Abbott. There’s no word how long her stint will be, but Y&R fans secretly hope she will stick around at least a few weeks.
Tamara Clutterbuck, the actor who plays Alice Johnson, will continue her arc this week. She will try her best to protect the girls in the sex ring from the apparent danger. We should Alice display both positive and negative character traits as storyline expands – Y&R buzz is that Alice won’t turn out to be a pure baddie!
Wayne Knight will make an appearance as Irv West, a music promoter. He is best known for his role as Newman on The Jerry Seinfeld Show. Irv will appear in two episodes.
