The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Dina (Marla Adams) won’t relent. Her admission about Graham (Max Shippee) allowed Jack (Peter Bergman) to gain a better understanding of why his mother was loyal to this mystery man. However, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) was provided with information on the same day about Mr. Bloodworth that will prove crucial.
Neil’s (Kristoff St. John) kind acquisition of a Mergeron human resource file allowed Ashley to begin lancing the boil that covers Graham’s cover story. While it’s true that he was hired based on Dina’s approval, rapidly became her right-hand man, confident and now, heir, something didn’t look right about this bearded fellow.
Ashley and Jack knew from the start that something was off with Graham when they first met him. Their concerns have only deepened since. Despite the fact that they hadn’t seen their mother in years and therefore didn’t know her current thought process, the Abbott siblings felt that other factors must be in play.
Ravi (Abhi Sinha) and Ashley’s conversation at Jabot led viewers to believe that Graham has been stalking Dina. While they think he’s some type of gold-digger, Mr. Bloodworth’s paternity could prove to be the real story as well.
Dina defaults to her emotions whenever questions about Graham are asked. There’s no doubt that this middle-aged man has affected her.
Y&R fans took note when dialogue again referenced the fact that Graham was an actor. That story-within-a-story (as Shippee is an actor who is playing a character who was once an actor) point indicates that Dina may have been fooled by Graham’s self-proclaimed backstory.
Again, a story-within-a story, as Shippee is playing an actor who is slowly revealing his past. Soap characters experience a similar unveiling.
Graham claims that at one point in his life he and his mother were homeless. Today, with both of his parents allegedly deceased, he stands alone. That’s why he’s convinced Dina that she’s the closest thing to family.
Did Graham suddenly need to return to Paris to take care of an issue with his apartment, as he told Dina? If he is in France, might he be meeting with some shady partner, his wife, or a family member who never died? Might Graham be Brent Davis’ (Bert Kramer) son, which Dina may, or may not be aware of?
Jack and Ashley will increase their attempts to uncover, or potentially confirm whoever Graham really is. Dina might initially be furious, if she’s aware of her children’s efforts, but in the end will likely to benefit from their love. Meanwhile, as CDL exposed, Graham intends to make a sneaky assault on Ashley and Jack soon!
