The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Brash and Sassy’s safe corporate space was saved, but Jill (Jess Walton) may still have to fight Jack (Peter Bergman) in order to keep that business interest from being taken over. Whether her often off-key executive trio is capable of singing sweeter business songs in 2017 remains unknown. Yes, Jill’s hands will remain full.
Victor (Eric Braeden) recently offered a nice compromise to Ashley (Eileen Davidson). It allowed the Abbott-Winters Foundation, which was in dire need of a venue, to have their New Year’s Eve charity event take place at the Top of the Tower. In return, Jack agreed to rescind the eviction notice he provided to Brash and Sassy.
Jack recently cut himself off while he was discussing that temporary reprieve. His doing so seemed to imply that some other type of move was coming. Viewers know that he’s separately scheming to take over Fenmore’s through hostile means. So that plan may be somehow linked to deeper visions where the former Newman start up is concerned.
Jill is no dummy, but she has lost her fair share of fights through the years. Whether she’s able to prepare a ready response whenever Jack strikes is questionable.
Meanwhile, The Moustache is vacationing with the currently blissful Mrs. Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), whose famous first wedding was just rebroadcast in daytime at the end of 2016. So he might not be available to save Vickie’s (Amelia Heinle) bacon twice in a row whenever Jack’s toxic injection is inserted.
Jack still loves Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and has mostly forgiven her terrible transgression. However, he remains in no mood to offer any compassion to Billy (Jason Thompson). It appears as though Jack relented to Victor’s request in this instance because he’s recalibrating. That choice has nothing to do with Billy remaining an indefinite target.
Consider a scenario where Jabot eventually controls Fenmore’s along with Brash and Sassy. While Phyllis would be employed by Fenmore’s, Billy likely would be pink-slipped by Smilin’ Jack, or somehow forced out of that beauty company. Looking toward the next round of holidays, Valentine’s Day might be the moment that happens.
Wouldn’t it seem fitting if Jack forces Jill to make some type of decision that cuts Billy loose in the near future? Mommy dearest surely would explode. Who knows, Jack might also have Chancellor Industries in mind as well. He’s restless and vengeful, so anything could happen.
