The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Juliet Gives Baby To Cane and Lily – Lane Restored When Laur Allen Exits Y&R

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that an unanticipated event will occur that results in Juliet (Laur Allen) giving her child to Lane. Yes, Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Lily (Christel Khalil) will raise Juliet’s baby as Allen’s character is written out.

Family honor and the desire to leave Genoa City will force Juliet to make the hardest decision of her life. She will give birth to a child that is proven to be Cane’s and then opt to allow him or her to be raised by Lane.

Juliet’s exceedingly painful and selfless act will serve to make Lily and Cane whole again. As this is soap, the referenced matter will take months to play out. If this were a flick, about 60 minutes of plot time would be allocated instead.

Readers, it’s okay to admit that Juliet surely appeared to be a schemer. So much easily digestible evidence made that woman look like the problem. She had to have set Cane up, right? This scribe was certain that assessment was correct. But we all must admit when we’ve misjudged others.

Miss Helton has only been guilty of being pushed by Hellacious Hilary (Mishael Morgan) into filing that phony sexual harassment suit. And the only reason Juliet did that is because she’s lived a somewhat sheltered life is therefore persuadable. Oh, and we haven’t tagged Hilary wrong. No reevaluation needed there.

Recall that Juliet was set to drop her claim after Cane made a last ditch attempt to talk with her a handful of weeks ago. Then, Juliet’s mind was changed later that day when other influences overrode Cane’s emotional pitch.

Juliet said this week that her father was the most important person in her life when she was growing up. That’s why she wants Cane in her child’s life. Allen’s character’s backstory is lengthened whenever those dialogue tidbits are offered, which makes one wonder if considered speculation about Mr. Sato (Richard Narita) being her dad is about to be born out. If so, that point would link to family shame and Juliet leaving town and her baby with Lane.

Upon reflection and in consideration of proposed facts, Juliet wasn’t trying to get Cane drunk in Tokyo, Japan. She didn’t lie about them spending the night together, becoming pregnant or about Cane being the father of her child. And the false legal claim she filed was set in motion by Cane’s outrageous actions during the Brash and Sassy commercial shoot in Los Angeles, not purely on her impulse alone.

Assume that Cane hadn’t tried to damage Billy’s hockey deal. Juliet would never have been fired, but instead would simply have learned that she was pregnant. No legal issue with resulting settlement check would have happened. Instead, a timeless personal drama would have played out on its own.

Juliet wouldn’t have looked nearly as bad, which reflects on those observers who’ve been relentlessly slamming her. Sorry Juliet. CDL is a leading source for everything linked to The Young and the Restless. Check back regularly for Y&R spoilers and news!
