The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) may sign on for a dangerous mission. In Tuesday’s new Y&R episode, December 5, Paul (Doug Davidson) urges Tessa to go undercover and score dirt on Victor (Eric Braeden). The GCPD obviously doesn’t care all that much about Tessa’s insignificant gun theft. Crystal (Morgan Obenreder) needed protection, so Tessa did what she had to do.
Victor, on the other hand, is a true criminal with a massive list of major felonies who constantly avoids punishment. Christine (Laralee Lee) is facing pressure to take Victor down and Paul would like to help her out. That’s where Tessa might come in. She’d be at a disadvantage since Victor doesn’t trust her, but there still ways of getting the scoop on his dirty deeds.
If Tessa goes through with this, she’ll certainly be risking her relationship with Noah (Robert Adamson). Despite all of Victor’s wrongdoings, Noah loves his grandpa. He’ll be pleased when he believes Tessa is protecting Victor and the rest of the family. However, that could play right into Tessa’s hand. Noah intends to bring Tessa further into the Newman clan’s inner circle.
The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Tessa will have to be smart about this. She’ll need to stay calm and focus on following Paul’s instructions. Once Tessa uncovers the evidence she needs, she’ll be presented with an interesting opportunity.
Tessa could send the proof to Paul and be done with it, but that may not be her best option. She might have another Y&R scheme in mind. Paul hopes to arrest Victor and throw him behind bars again. If the plan pays off and Noah discovers Tessa’s role in it, their romance could come to a screeching halt.
Perhaps Tessa will decide to go rogue at some point. Will she blackmail Victor with whatever she uncovers? Tessa might contend that she’s willing to keep quiet if The Moustache backs off. She just wants a chance to be happy with Noah. If Victor agrees, Tessa could tell Paul she came up empty-handed.
Unfortunately, there are always risks associated with threatening the great Victor Newman – just look at his sons Adam and Nick – he framed Adam for murder and now he’s dead and Nick’s broke and about to lose Christian. Victor could determine that he can’t let Tessa stick around. He could come up with a plot to get rid of her for good. No one would be surprised if it was deadly!
Will Tessa’s life soon be on the line? If Noah remains in the dark, will Mariah (Camryn Grimes) figure out what’s up and come to the rescue?
