The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, August 29, tease that Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will get fed up with Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Victor’s (Eric Braeden) feud. She’ll feel like Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) is caught in the drama and that’s certainly not beneficial. Nikki will have a discussion with Nick in hopes of stopping the crisis.
Soap kids always have it rough anyway with all the shocking revelations and crushing blows. Adding intense family conflict is unnecessary and will undoubtedly affect Faith’s life. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nikki will call on Nick to be the bigger person. She’ll think it’s wrong to keep Faith away from her grandfather. Victor has behaved horribly, but he adores Faith.
Nick will probably point out that they’re working toward a solution. Monday’s Y&R episode brings them a step closer to keeping the peace around Faith, so Nick may be hopeful on Tuesday. Nick will still hate Victor’s guts, but he’ll try to do what’s best for his daughter.
Nikki will also push Victor to put the conflict to rest, but the great Victor Newman never really backs down. It looks like the hostility will rev back up soon. Another explosive showdown is looming and the aftermath could be ugly.
In the meantime, Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) will lash out at Lily (Christel Khalil). When the teen spots a beautiful bouquet, she’ll assume Lily is already dating again. There’s a good chance Mattie will suspect the flowers are from Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) and she’ll be right. Jordan is trying out some smooth moves to win Lily over.
Lily will promise that she’s not rushing into anything serious. She’ll assure Mattie that Cane (Daniel Goddard) will always be part of their family, even if they can’t put the marriage back together. Nevertheless, Mattie will have a bad feeling about all of this.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Sharon (Sharon Case) will discover something surprising. It appears she’ll make the sister connection between Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) and Crystal (Morgan Obenreder). She’ll definitely want any info Tessa can offer.
Tessa will indeed talk to Sharon and Paul (Doug Davidson) on Tuesday. With Mariah’s (Camryn Grimes) support, Tessa will deliver stunning news. She’ll fill them in on what she knows and they’ll work to find Crystal before it’s too late. We’ll give you updates as other Y&R details emerge.
