The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, December 20, tease that Cane (Daniel Goddard) will get some great news. This is probably about Tuesday’s vote to kick Jack (Peter Bergman) out of the CEO spot. Since Ashley (Eileen Davidson) was against Jack’s offer to acquire Chancellor Industries, that makes it more likely that Jill (Jess Walton) will go with Cane’s offer.
Cane will definitely have high hopes about his future at Chancellor, but he believes he’s out of luck with Lily (Christel Khalil). However, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) will refuse to give up on these two. It appears she’ll decide to have a chat with Lily on Wednesday. Hilary may think she can convince Lily to patch things up with her husband.
Lily still loves Cane and she’s been trying to reach out to him lately. Of course, Cane isn’t getting the hint and that’s adding to Lily’s doubts. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Hilary will do her best to get Lily and Cane on the same page. Lily will wonder if her enemy has an ulterior motive, but it seems Hilary’s just doing a good deed for once. After all, it’s almost Christmas!
Later this week, Lily and Cane will be tricked into spending time with each other. Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) and Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) will join their parents for some Christmas carols. Will Hilary cook up a plot to help them enjoy the holiday as a family? It certainly looks that way. Let’s hope the plan pays off.
Meanwhile, Billy (Jason Thompson) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will try to figure out where they stand. In Tuesday’s Y&R episode, Phyllis supports Jack at the Jabot board meeting. Since Billy takes Ashley’s side, that should leave them with some reevaluating to do on Wednesday.
Fortunately, Phyllis and Billy won’t let work drama destroy their love. They’ve been through a lot together and it’s going to take more than a divisive vote to tear them apart. There’s a good chance “Philly” will put all this to rest and just focus on a having a merry Christmas.
