The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, July 19, tease that Victor (Eric Braeden) will face questions about the Newman clan’s conflict. When he runs into Ashley (Eileen Davidson), she’ll wonder what’s going on. Victor will come clean about Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) MS flare-ups and the scuffle he had with Nick (Joshua Morrow). Ashley will hope that everyone settles down eventually.
Later, Victor will avoid getting into the specifics with Abby (Melissa Ordway). He’ll contend that he disowned Nick, but that doesn’t change how he feels about his other kids. Abby will give Victor a hug before she exits. Scott (Daniel Hall) will also offer his support when he senses that Victor is feeling low. He’ll insist that he has Vic’s back.
Abby and Scott will meet up afterward to discuss the drama. Scott will suggest that they less they know, the better off they’ll be. That’s usually how it works with Victor. Meanwhile, Nikki will return from her trip with Jack (Peter Bergman). She’ll head back to the ranch to confront Victor and deliver a decision.
Nikki will assure her husband that she loves him, but this has all been too much to bear. Victor’s behavior was despicable and Nikki can’t just let it go. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor won’t try to force this. If Nikki doesn’t want to be married to him, then he’s willing to give up his fight.
Of course, it’s tough to believe that this is a permanent breakup. Victor and Nikki have been down this road before, but a reunion is always waiting at the end. Stick with Y&R to see how long it’ll take for the tension to lift.
Elsewhere, Ravi (Abhi Sinha) will return Dina’s (Marla Adams) glasses to her. He’ll notice that she’s incredibly stressed. Ravi will give Ashley updates on Dina’s apparent crisis. Jack will also drop by to see Dina later. She’ll be livid that he abandoned her at the event to spend time with Nikki. Once things get heated, Dina will slap Jack with everything she’s got.
At Sharon’s (Sharon Case) place, Mariah’s (Camryn Grimes) crying session will wind down. She’ll be upset about Devon (Bryton James) and Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) bond, but Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) will provide a pep talk. Mariah and Tessa’s connection will grow stronger during their intense chat.
After Devon arrives, he’ll face an important question from Mariah. She’ll ask how he actually feels about her. Devon will promise that Hilary (Mishael Morgan) is in his past. He’ll assure Mariah that she brings him joy and encourages him daily.
