The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of August 22-25 tease that the war is on! Note that Y&R is preempted Monday, August 21 by CBS’ coverage of the solar eclipse. Jack (Peter Bergman) will be determined to eliminate the competition and make Billy (Jason Thompson) pay the price for his mistakes. However, Billy won’t just sit back and let Jack destroy him. If this is the way Jack wants it, then Billy will have to get sneaky.
Billy will tell Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) that Jack has punished him enough. He knows he hurt Jack by stealing Phyllis’ heart, but he just can’t take the constant revenge anymore. Billy will argue that it’s Jack’s turn to deal with some payback. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Billy will keep pursuing the Dina (Marla Adams) angle. He’ll suspect that she could be his ticket to juicy Jabot secrets.
Y&R’s weekly promo shows Billy snapping a picture of a password on Dina’s laptop. It looks like he could soon have serious ammunition to use against Jack. Meanwhile, Lily (Christel Khalil) will struggle with strong emotions. She’ll battle growing feelings for Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) as well as jealousy over Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Juliet’s (Laur Allen) bond.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Sharon (Sharon Case) will be hot on the trail. She’s desperate to find Crystal (Morgan Obenreder), but she’ll face some developments she didn’t expect. It looks like Sharon will spot Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) getting into a car with an extremely shady dude. She’ll record the incident on her phone as she watches in the distance.
Sharon will definitely be concerned about Tessa and Crystal’s safety. Mariah (Camryn Grimes) should freak when she finds out Tessa is gone as well. When Sharon grills her, Mariah will likely admit that Crystal and Tessa are siblings. Scott (Daniel Hall) will undoubtedly pitch in on their efforts to track the girls down.
It appears Tessa is taking drastic action to find her sister. Unfortunately, she’ll put herself in harm’s way in the process. In the Y&R weekly preview video, Tessa looks nervous as the thug slams the door of the motel room. He hurls her phone across the room as she awaits whatever he has in store.
Tessa could use a hero, but time is running out. Sharon and the rest of the gang will have to work fast if they want to keep her alive. We’ll give you updates as other news comes in.
