The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers have been reporting on Hilary Curtis’ (Mishael Morgan) true colors. Fans may have fallen in love with Hilary and her husband, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), but over and over again Hilary has proven how rotten she really can be.
Y&R’s Hevon have a really strong fan base. At one point, they were a really sweet couple and it looked like Hilary finally had the man she loved and things would go smoothly from there; but it always sat in the back of people’s minds how horrible Hilary had been to Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Lily Ashby (Christel Khalil) and that she had no qualms about attempting to destroy all of Neil Winters’ (Kristoff St. Johns) family on her mission of misguided revenge.
Some may think that Devon is blinded by his love for Hilary since he always was able to explain her actions and forgave her repeatedly for being down-right cruel to some people. He even argued with his sister, Lily on several occasions who was clearly looking out for his own best interests.
It is surprising that it took Hilary humiliating and hurting Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) for him to finally dump her for good. Unfortunately, the same night he had a massive accident and The Young and the Restless fans don’t know when his mental state and memory will return. It will be interesting to see who he chooses when he fully recovers.
Mariah and Devon have enjoyed a long stannding friendship. Mariah may not be the perfect girl-next -door kind of woman, but she had been loyal to Devon in business and in their personal lives. Devon clearly has feelings for Mariah since she is the only one he trusted to keep an eye on Hilary when he bought GC Buzz.
Devon’s actions after learning that Hilary was the one who hurt Mariah, speak volumes to fans and residents of Genoa City. If everything Lily, Cane and Neil have told Devon about Hilary didn’t make him change his mind, why did he drop Hilary like a hot potato the second he found out of her deception that physically hurt Mariah?
With Devon it isn’t even about the money, he has been in love with Hilary for a long time, but he has also had a great dependable relationship with Mariah. Please take this poll and let us know who you think Devon should choose: Hilary or Mariah?
