Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Billy Flynn (Chad) is speaking out about which comeback he’d like to see on the NBC soap. Flynn recently sent out a couple tweets about his favorite DOOL “scenes.” He actually used funny GIFs in place of the real deal. Flynn just wanted to make some jokes about Chad and Andre’s (Thaao Penghlis) relationship, but it gave him an interesting idea!
In a third tweet, Flynn offered a suggestion on how Andre could return from the dead. He’s hoping Days could rely on a method that’s worked before. Flynn asked for a petition to “have @nbcdays get Dr. Rolf and Ben to grab whatever that Frankenstein drug was they gave to Will, and inject that shiz into Andre.”
Since Will (Chandler Massey) had some memories issues after that serum was used, Flynn argued that could work for Andre’s (Thaao Penghlis) storyline as well. “If we’re lucky…Andre will lose his memory too, so Chad can convince him he’s a mime by trade and worships Chad.” As you can see, Flynn’s just teasing about that last part!
However, many DOOL fans would indeed like to see Andre’s return. Flynn’s method would work if someone arrived to inject Andre off screen, but it might be overkill. After all, both EJ (James Scott) and Will were brought back to life like that. Maybe Days of Our Lives should do something different this time around. There are other ways to set up Penghlis’ return to the NBC soap.
For starters, there’s another perfectly good character just waiting to revisit. Why not bring Tony back instead? It’d give Penghlis a chance to sink his teeth into his other popular role again. Tony is also deceased, but there are ways around that. For example, someone else could’ve been wearing a Tony mask at the time of his demise.
If the show didn’t want to take that route, they could just gloss over it. We don’t really need a lengthy explanation. Days viewers didn’t get a solid one when Andre returned for his latest stint. The DiMeras are men of mystery anyway!
As another tactic, they could reveal that Andre actually faked his own death. Abigail (Marci Miller) could really use something to absolve her of guilt here. Andre might’ve cooked up a crazy scheme to save himself from Stefan (Tyler Christopher) and Vivian’s (Louise Sorel) evil plans.
Regardless, Flynn’s rooting for Penghlis’ comeback and so are plenty of fans! Days of Our Lives spoilers say the action will continue to heat up in Salem, so let’s hope Andre or Tony reenters the picture eventually. We’ll give you updates as other news comes in.
