Days of Our Lives star Jen Lilley, who portrays Theresa Donovan on the NBC soap, has an exciting new role. According to a new Entertainment Tonight report, Lilley will star in a new Christmas TV movie for The Hallmark Channel.
The holiday movie, called Mingle All The Way, will co-star Lindsay Wagner and Brant Daugherty. Lilley will portray main character “Molly,” the founder of a new networking app called Mingle All The Way. The app is designed to pair up busy professionals who need dates for upcoming events…without long-term romance.
The movie’s plot, summed up nicely by the movie’s official logline, is as follows: “Molly (Lilley) is determined to prove to her family that it is a success. Therefore, she joins the app, and meets another busy professional, Jeff (Daugherty). When Molly and Jeff are matched, they are both horrified to realize they’ve already had not one, but two, disastrous previous encounters. Nevertheless, they agree to stay matched for all their respective upcoming holiday engagements. As the pair gets closer, perhaps their business arrangement might turn into something more this holiday season.”
It certainly sounds like the movie will be a fun and festive holiday story, with plenty of romance. Fans of Lilley’s should be sure to tune in. So far, there’s no word on exactly when the movie will air, but chances are it will air as we get closer to the holiday season.
Interestingly, Lilley’s costar in Mingle All The Way, Brant Daugherty, was previously on Days of Our Lives as well. From 2012-2013 he played the recurring role of “Brian.” Daugherty is best known for his role as Noel on Pretty Little Liars.
