Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Leo (Greg Rikaart) is in for a big surprise. Leo’s been the driving force behind the sexual harassment lawsuit against Sonny (Freddie Smith) that Kate (Lauren Koslow) orchestrated. Leo has done everything Kate has asked and done it well. He planted damning evidence against Sonny and it looks like he’s on the road to win the lawsuit and get a monumental payout.
But Leo wasn’t counting on Kate backing out of the deal, and that’s just what she’s going to do. Kate found out that Chad (Billy Flynn) was appointed CEO of Titan, and that put a stop to Kate’s plot to take over Titan. That means that Kate no longer needs the sexual harassment lawsuit to happen. Days spoilers say that Kate will instruct Leo to take Titan’s settlement offer and end the lawsuit.
This won’t sit well with Leo. Leo was expecting a huge verdict in the lawsuit, and the settlement amount will be peanuts compared to what he could have received if the case went to trial and he won. He’ll probably be furious with Kate. After all, he’s been her loyal servant this entire time and has really put himself out there for the sake of the lawsuit.
It looks like Leo will enact a retaliatory plan against Kate. Days of Our Lives spoilers say that he’ll confess to Sonny that the lawsuit was indeed a setup and that Vivian (Louise Sorel) was the one who initiated the whole thing. But he won’t tell Sonny that Kate took over the plan once Vivian was out of the picture. This is an interesting move for Leo. What’s his angle?
Leo probably has money on his mind, and he might be setting up a nasty blackmail scam against Kate. He may go to Kate and inform her that he’s confessed part of the lawsuit plot to Sonny and he’ll be happy to also disclose Kate’s involvement unless she pays him off.
Leo might just demand the huge sum he was expecting to receive in the lawsuit. If so, Kate’s going to be in a real bind. It’s not like she has a lot of resources right now.
