Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) will soon be in hot water. He performed a heroic act on Christmas Eve when he saved a young nurse after she tried to commit suicide. The nurse, Haley Chen (Thia Megia), had taken an overdose of pills after having a disturbing conversation with someone on the phone. Luckily, JJ found her in time and was able to revive her.
But JJ’s actions could have some serious consequences. Instead of getting Haley admitted to the hospital and formally evaluated, he and another nurse decided to keep the situation quiet for Haley’s sake and they observed her overnight in private.
Well, it looks like that decision may come back to bite JJ. JJ’s a great EMT, but he’s already got a mark against him. He was suspended this past year when he falsely admitted that the drugs planted in his apartment were his in order to protect Theresa Donovan (Jen Lilley). That turned out to be a big misunderstanding and he was reinstated as an EMT, but he really can’t afford any more trouble.
But trouble is what he’ll get. According to Days spoilers, Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) will soon have a big problem with JJ, and she’ll blast him for his actions. Chances are, she’ll find out about Haley’s suicide attempt and the ensuing coverup. She’ll probably feel that protocol should have been followed and Haley should have been admitted to the hospital as a precaution.
JJ really won’t have any grounds on which to defend himself. Sure, he thought he was acting in Haley’s best interest by handling the situation quietly, but he really won’t have any other excuse for his actions. Kayla will probably have decision to make – protocol will probably dictate that she report JJ’s actions, or she could choose to keep the matter private and protect JJ.
