Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Wednesday, September 5, tease that John (Drake Hogestyn) will get good news and bad news. First, let’s talk about the positive side of things. Marlena (Deidre Hall) will awaken in the hospital, so John will be relieved and overjoyed. He’ll tell “Doc” that everything’s going to be OK, but she’s not really out of the woods yet.
Marlena’s condition will decline in the near future, but John will enjoy this brief moment of peace. He’ll cling to hope for Marlena, especially when he hears about Paul’s (Christopher Sean) accident. Days of Our Lives spoilers state that Brady (Eric Martsolf) will face a difficult task on Wednesday. He’ll recap Paul’s battle with Kristen (Stacy Haiduk), which ended when they fell through a hotel window.
Brady and John will fret over Paul’s dire condition. They’ll have a hard time keeping their emotions under control, but they’ll just try to stay strong. Meanwhile, Eli (Lamon Archey) will have Lani (Sal Stowers) on his mind. His feelings are growing stronger, so he’ll finally let himself admit it.
Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) will guess that something’s up with Eli, but she won’t be sure what it is. She’ll do her best to pry it out of him in Wednesday’s episode, so don’t be surprised when Eli opens up. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Eli will come clean about his love for Lani. He’ll realize this is going to complicate their friendship, but Julie may think her grandson should put his heart out there.
Eli will indeed make his move soon, but Lani won’t be as receptive to the idea as he’d like. DOOL spoilers hint that the road ahead will be tricky, but Lani and Eli will undoubtedly figure this out. Over with Abigail (Marci Miller), she’ll mull over Gabi’s (Camila Banus) apparent sneakiness. Abigail just won’t be able to shake the feeling that Gabi’s out to get her.
Days fans can expect Abigail to share her suspicions with JJ (Casey Moss), but he’ll immediately express doubt. JJ trusts Gabi, so it should be tough for Abigail to get him in her corner. Nevertheless, JJ should come around eventually! It sounds like Gabi had better watch her back in the coming months.
