Jamal watches the news with Cookie. Kai is on the news and still missing with his team. Jamal gets a call. They found Kai. He is in the hospital.
Lucious meets with Jackson. He invites him to his party for Devon. He tells him it is going to be real cut throat,
Andre has drinks with some friends. They tell him they can get him some work while he gets the family business up and running.
Jamal meets with Kai at the hospital. Cookie hugs Kai. He tells them how he got ambushed but made it across the border. The doctor comes in. Kai tells him they are family. He can talk. Cookie hears about how Kai has HIV. Cookie pulls Jamal aside. She is worried about Kai getting Jamal sick.
Cookie is in the kitchen googling HIV. Her sisters come in and they want to know what is going on. She tells the her artist has HIV. She was just curious. They get to talking about it, working Cookie up.
Tiana and Hakeem talk about him coming home for good. He tells her he is ready after he remembers when her water broke.
Lucious coaches Devon who is getting frustrated. Meanwhile, Tiana sings a song for Jeff and Becky. Jeff doesn’t let it. It’s about Hakeem and none of the stuff he wanted. He tells her to scrap it. She gets mad.
Tiana recalls back when she went to the hospital after her water broke and her blood pressure plummeted. Becky talks to her snapping her out of her daydream. Becky tells her to try again. Tiana tells her she is done following the rules.
Cookie tells Lucious that Kai has HIV. He tells Cookie they need to mind their business. Jamal is grown. She gets mad.
