General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Ava’s (Maura West) in for a shock. On a new GH episode on July 13, an encounter with Oscar (Garren Stitt) will leave her taken aback. GH viewers can guess why! Ava will discover something awfully familiar and you can bet it’ll be Oscar’s new scent. She should get a whiff of Morgan’s (Bryan Craig) favorite cologne, so the wheels should start turning.
Part of Ava may hope it’s just a coincidence. It’s not like that’s the only bottle ever made of this particular brand. However, some clues could tip Ava off to the truth. If she asks Oscar what cologne he’s wearing, he might give her the same spiel he gave Nelle (Chloe Lanier).
Oscar may point out that Josslyn (Eden McCoy) gave it to him as a gift. He could add that it’s working out well for him since Nelle commented on it, too. Oscar might even suggest that he’s bummed it’s already half gone. Joss claimed she spilled it before she handed it over, but Ava would know better.
That’d be enough for Ava to realize this is indeed the same bottle. It could jog her memory and make her assume Nelle swiped it. General Hospital fans know Ava recently offered Nelle a stern warning. She insisted that Nelle should get rid of anything that might incriminate her. Ava wanted no trace left behind!
If this blows up in Nelle’s face, it could come back on Ava, too. She didn’t know the details of Nelle’s plot, but she knew her assistant was up to no good. The cologne was also in Ava’s possession before all this, so the discovery should leave her rattled. She could be blamed for Carly’s (Laura Wright) drama if she’s not careful.
Ava still has the blanket on her side, but even that could prove problematic. It’s really nothing more than leverage. Ava can hold it over Nelle, but actually coming forward with it would mean confessing her part in the cover-up. She could lose Griffin (Matt Cohen) and potentially reignite a custody war for Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola).
Once Ava confronts Nelle, she should learn about the spilled bag confusion and the chaos that followed. Perhaps Nelle will get another fierce warning. Ava may insist that if this slip up costs her everything, Nelle’s going to pay the price!
