General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, February 19, tease that the special mayoral election will bring some hot drama. Ned’s (Wally Kurth) confidence will start to wane as the evening goes on. He’ll decide he’d better have both a victory speech and a concession speech ready.
As the results begin to come in, Ned will see that they’re in a dead heat. However, a new article in The Intruder could change the game. General Hospital spoilers say they’ll release a scandalous story about Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) while the polls are still open. Alexis will worry that it could cost her the race.
Nevertheless, Alexis shouldn’t give up. She still has a chance to pull off a win. In the meantime, Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) will ponder a mystery. She’ll try to figure out why someone would pay to have Stella (Vernee Watson) mugged. Something was fishy about Stella’s encounter with that criminal, so that’s leading Jordan down this road.
Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Jordan will assume it has something to do with the Charles Street development. This has Jim Harvey (Greg Evigan) written all over it, so maybe they can find evidence that points to him eventually. He’s got plenty of baddies in his corner.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) will finish the will reading. She’ll note that Faison left his estate to his son. Faison was pitted against Peter (Wes Ramsey) at the end, but he seemed genuinely broken up about killing Nathan (Ryan Paevey). If Nathan is the son listed, that may add to all the complications.
Of course, the main shocker is what was left to Jason (Steve Burton) and Drew (Billy Miller). There’s a safe that contains Heinrik’s last-known alias and whereabouts as well as what Drew needs to get his memories back. The catch is one brother must die for the other one to get what he wants.
Faison’s evil plan will cause some frustration and conflict for the twins. Let’s hope Drew and Jason can learn to work together on this. If they can’t, their battle could get ugly! At GH, Griffin (Matt Cohen) will give Sonny (Maurice Benard) some difficult news. He just did a test on Mike (Max Gail) to determine if he has any cognitive impairments.
Sadly, that test confirmed Sonny’s worst suspicions. We’re probably dealing with Alzheimer’s here. General Hospital spoilers say Griffin will provide updates and promise to slow the progression if he can. This isn’t what Sonny wants to hear, but at least he’ll have a better grip on what Mike’s facing.
It sounds like some tough scenes are on the way. We’ll keep you posted as other GH details emerge. Stay tuned to the ABC soap and don’t forget to check CDL often for the latest General Hospital spoilers, updates and news.
