General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) has one final weapon in her arsenal to push Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) over the edge! GH buzz has it she might find a young man in a homeless shelter or halfway house who looks similar to Morgan Cortinthos (Bryan Craig). Nelle may hire the guy to play the part and become Morgan’s “ghost.”
It’s time to break out the big guns and really drive Carly mad. A ghostly encounter could do the trick. Nelle might look for her actor in a nearby town such as Beecher’s Corners or Corinth. That way she wouldn’t stir up suspicion as she tracks down the perfect portrayer.
This Morgan lookalike may be someone who has some facial disfigurement as the result of an accident. He could have a few burn scars as well as amnesia. However, there’d be no major brain damage since Nelle needs someone who can follow orders.
“Ghost Morgan” could lurk in the shadows whenever Carly’s around. He might gaze at her near the site of the explosion or even peek in the windows at Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) place. There’s a security team at the Corinthos compound, but they’ve been known to let stuff slip by them.
General Hospital fans will recall an intriguing scene shortly after Morgan was presumed dead. Someone mysterious watched Sonny and Carly grieving through the window at home. The camera served as the person’s eyes, but GH never revealed who was spying.
Naturally, this led to plenty of buzz about Morgan surviving the blast. Perhaps Morgan made it back to the house, but decided to disappear instead of reuniting with his family. He might’ve felt like they’d be better off without him. The show never provided a conclusion to that mystery, but General Hospital spoilers say one may be coming soon.
Maybe the impersonator Nelle finds will be the real Morgan! His name has been brought up many times since his exit. GH never lets us forget about him, so that could be a big clue about what’s to come.
There’s no confirmation on a Morgan recast or Bryan Craig’s return just yet, but General Hospital may be trying to keep it under wraps.
