General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that we’ll get to know Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) a bit better in the coming weeks. So far, she seems like a lovely, intelligent young woman. Sasha’s articulate and makes fast friends with just about everyone she meets. After she got over that initial hurdle with Nina (Michelle Stafford), it’s pretty much been smooth sailing.
Of course, that’s exactly why we should be suspicious. Consider how all this has played out so far. Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) found out Nina’s child might be alive, so he put Curtis (Donnell Turner) to work. It wasn’t long until Curtis returned with a name and ordered two DNA tests. Those tests confirmed Sasha as Nina’s daughter and after a minor hiccup, everything’s hunky-dory.
What’s wrong with this picture? There’s no drama! This is a soap, so there’s no way this is just a story about a mother and daughter happily reconnecting. General Hospital has a different plan in mind and they may have dropped a huge hint about it.
Nina introduced Maxie (Kristen Storms) to Sasha, which led to an intriguing conversation. Maxie decided to be blunt and ask about Sasha’s mental health. There’s a whole lot of crazy in Sasha’s family, so Maxie must’ve thought it was worth asking. Fortunately, Sasha wasn’t offended. She suggested things are all good for her, but is that really true?
GH has an interesting opportunity here. Sasha’s a blank slate, so there’s a chance she’s got a dark, unstable side. Nina pointed out that Sasha could work for her at Crimson, but offered The Invader as an alternative since Sasha was uncomfortable. Peter (Wes Ramsey) grew up knowing the ultimate madman himself, Cesar Faison (Anders Hove). If Sasha’s a sinister psycho, maybe Peter will be able to tell.
General Hospital spoilers say there’s a deeper mystery in play with this story. Does it tie in with Sasha’s past and who she is as a person? Is she running some sort of con job or has she been misled along with Nina? We’ll give you updates as other GH news comes in.
