General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, January 4, tease that Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) will return with some new info. He’ll speak with Jason (Steve Burton) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) about the case they’re working on. Spinelli will contend that one lead became two new ones. He’ll explain the clues he came up with and hope that they’ll help with Jason’s mission.
Spinelli might have some ideas on how to find Faison or determine who the traitor is. He’s also been looking into the manuscript, so perhaps he’s starting to make sense of it. Of course, that may not be the right angle to pursue. The manuscript could involve another storyline entirely. General Hospital spoilers hint that The Severed Branch may tie in with Nathan’s (Ryan Paevey) paternity.
Maxie (Kirsten Storms) will blab some crucial facts to Dr. Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) on Thursday. That could spark some last-ditch scheming on Dr. O’s part, but she won’t be able to avoid the truth for long. Next week, January 8-12, GH fans can expect a shocking confession. Dr. Obrecht will admit that Faison is Nathan’s father, so things are about to heat up.
In the meantime, Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) will tackle questions at the police station. Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) will want the scoop on Cassandra (Jessica Tuck), but Valentin’s answers may not be satisfactory. Lulu (Emme Rylan) will notice that Valentin seems to be in a jam. She’ll quickly rub the news in Nina’s (Michelle Stafford) face across town.
While Nina grows fearful, Anna (Finola Hughes) will grill Finn (Michael Easton) in his hospital room. He’s been pretty out of it, but he remembers stabbing Cassandra with a syringe. Finn believes he killed her, but she mysteriously vanished and reappeared later. What exactly happened?
Cassandra’s condition is unknown at this point, but Jessica Tuck will indeed be exiting the role within the next few episodes according to insider GH sources. Nathan will seek updates from Amy (Risa Dorken) at GH, so Cassandra might’ve survived long enough to make it to the emergency room. Amy will do her best to tell Nathan anything he needs to know.
Still, there’s no guarantee Cassandra will last through the night. Did someone murder Cassandra after she went missing from Anna’s place? The circumstances certainly look grim.
