General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) will continue to fret about Anna’s (Finola Hughes) safety. He’s doing his best to keep Peter (Wes Ramsey) under control, but the danger’s obviously building. Now that Valentin’s taken care of Robert (Tristan Rogers), Peter wants rid of Anna as well. He feels like it’s the best way to preserve their secrets and move on with their lives.
Valentin was visibly rattled by the idea of harming Anna in any way. He lashed out at Peter for even suggesting it, which prompted an interesting comment from his ally. Peter suggested that like Faison (Anders Hove), Valentin has a “fatal weakness” for Anna. Despite Valentin’s attempts to deny it, GH fans know Peter’s got a good point.
There hasn’t been any buzz about Valentin leaving the show, so perhaps his fatal weakness won’t be so fatal after all. Still, it’s clear that Valentin’s walking into a risky situation. He could definitely find himself facing grave peril before this story wraps up. If Peter becomes too much to handle, a brush with death may await Valentin.
Anna recently refused to meet, so she missed out on Valentin’s potential confession. He might’ve been spooked enough to spill Peter’s true identity or at least tip her off to Heinrik’s threat. However, Anna turned Valentin down and he might back out of blabbing if she ever changes her mind.
Valentin will hope to fix his problems without making a bigger mess. Unfortunately, that could be an impossible task. General Hospital spoilers say Valentin will be forced to make some tough choices. It’s easy to imagine a scenario where Peter corners Anna to kill her and Valentin reveals their shocking mother-son link. If Peter fires a shot anyway, Valentin could dive in front of Anna.
Then again, Peter could intentionally shoot Valentin for keeping something so huge from him. Whatever the case, Valentin may end up fighting for his life at GH. Nina (Michelle Stafford) would be concerned at first, but the dirty details could alter her perception.
Valentin has been lying to Nina for months and his partner in crime played a role in summoning Faison to Port Charles. Nina may argue that Valentin facilitated the murder of her beloved brother. Nathan’s (Ryan Paevey) death will undoubtedly be a major issue in all this.
If Valentin nearly dies saving Anna, that’ll be another reason for Nina’s fury. The last time their marriage nearly crumbled, lies and an Anna obsession were to blame. It looks like GH could use the same troubles to break Nina and Valentin up again.
There are plenty of fans out there who want Valentin and Anna as a couple. They’ve got some hot chemistry, so why not put them together after the Peter fallout? If Valentin saves Anna and can offer a decent explanation for his behavior, their feelings could grow stronger. Anna and Valentin’s connection is always bubbling under the surface, so maybe they won’t be able to fight it anymore.
Is GH setting up a sizzling summer romance? Even if it’s just a fling, Valentin and Anna would be fun to watch. General Hospital spoilers say some great stuff’s brewing, so stay tuned.
