Someone sent flowers to Sam, he is name is Troy Harper and she met him jogging. Sam says she is nervous, but she had a great time. Eddie says it is a little stalky that the guy sends flowers after one date. Eddie then asks Monica what she knows about this guy, she says nothing. Eddie doesn’t give up, he asks Berto to find out what he can about Troy Harper.

A friend of Sam’s comes in, Paul Dorsey, he needs their help desperately. Paul owns an auction house and last night, someone stole a $50 million dollar painting and it is going on auction in 72 hours. The thieves cut the middle of a glass window open to get into the gallery.

Sam has a friend in the FBI and asks him if he knows anyone who could be an art thief (and she describes the job that was pulled in Paul’s gallery) that she can learn from for a new part she is studying for. He says he will look into it and get back to her.

Berto calls Eddie and tells him that Sam’s new boyfriend is clean, he is a doctor, a cancer researcher and in the top of his field. Eddie says it is good news. Eddie is with Zeus, they find the parking spot where the thief was at, there is an ATM across the street with a camera. They look at the video, it is a woman and she is driving a Civic. Sam says her FBI friend gave her the MO of some art thieves and this one guy, Larson, he would cut glass to get in and use a Civic to get away; he passed away, but he had a daughter. Eddie says maybe she took over the family business.

Eddie and Sam go see Larsen’s daughter, Melissa. Melissa tells Eddie that he is incredibly handsome, he asks her what she knows about Paul Dorsey and she says nothing. Melissa hits on the two of them, then says she is getting a massage and has to go. Eddie tells her he knows she stole the painting and will be back, Melissa responds that she looks forward to round two.

Zeus heard the whole conversation, he says she is one cool person. Zeus managed to tap into her cell phone, Melissa gets a call and plans an exchange later that day.

Sam calls Troy, she thanks for him the flowers in front of Eddie who tries to walk out of the room and Sam follows him to make sure he is listening. Eddie gets a call from Zeus, Sam is finished her call and notices a file on Berto’s desk of Troy when he did the check on him.

Sam and Eddie head to Broadway to where Melissa is going to do the exchange. Sam tells Eddie he was right about Troy, he is a convicted murderer, Eddie says no he isn’t. Sam asks him if the reason he checked him out is that he feels threatened, he says no.

Eddie and Sam see Melissa do the drop. They pull up and block the two cars from moving. Melissa takes a bag and swaps it for a blueprint, that Eddie and Sam thought was the painting.

The guy is Marcus Cutler, he is a dirty real estate guy, he has a reputation for stiffing vendors and suing them if they complain.

Paul Dorsey knows Marcus Cutler, he acquires pieces for the sake of having them. He has previously wanted to buy out Paul, but he turned him down, now Marcus is trying to ruin him.

Eddie has an idea, he wants to hire Melissa to steal back the painting.

Eddie is going to see Melissa, Sam has him wired for sound and he listening in with Zeus. Eddie tells her he is not FBI, she says she knows. Eddie hands her a piece of paper with a fee for a job, she says the fee is acceptable, but not the job. Melissa says no to the job.

Sam has an idea, what if they steal the painting. They talk to Zeus and he says they need to clone a key card to get into Cutler’s place. There is one guy, a facilities manager, who they can clone the key card from. The plan is that Sam goes on a blind date with him from a dating app, and she tries to get the key and clone it. The guy gets a call and Sam manages to get the card from his jacket that he took off, and she makes the clone. He is finished on the phone and says he has to go, Sam jumps up and kisses him, she puts the key card back into his pocket.

Sam and Eddie are back at the office with the key card, Berto and Monica have figured out where the painting is because Cutler only has to buildings that are climate controlled and one of them is one of his mansions where a gala is being held that evening. Melissa walks in, she tells Eddie that if he is up to what he thinks he is up to, he is going to need her help.

Cutler paid Melissa with counterfeit bills and now she wants revenge.

Sam and Eddie get dressed up for the gala, Zeus plays chauffeur. Melissa told them where the painting is located in the house, so they know where to go but Zeus guides them. Sam distracts the guard at the stairs while Eddie goes upstairs. Eddie is caught, he and Sam are arrested. Cutler tells them he is going to file lawsuits and get them lots of bad press.

Its time for the auction, Paul is auctioning the paintings when Cutler stands up an announces that the painting was stolen and what people came for is not there. Paul unveils the painting, its there. All of a sudden, Sam and Eddie are beside Cutler and tell him that the LAPD took interest in his two warehouses full of art that came from questionable origins. Sam says that once the LAPD got interested, the FBI got really interested.

Sam and Eddie go to leave and outside, the two have a moment and walk towards each other, and kiss.
