The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Bill (Don Diamont) will keep up his efforts to win Brooke’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) heart. He’s become almost as much of a waffler as Liam (Scott Clifton) lately. Not too long ago, Bill was relentlessly chasing Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and insisting that she was the only one he was meant to be with.
Thankfully, Bill got that crazy idea out of his system. Bill and Steffy were arguably kind of fun, but only on a short-term basis. Steffy would be better suited to Liam (Scott Clifton) if he were only free! Of course, a new man would work as well. Someone in Steffy’s age range would be preferable.
Regardless, Bill’s moved on and now he’s only got eyes for another former flame. Brooke’s the one who’s captured Bill’s heart all over again. He’s using this whole “changed man” angle to make progress with her, but it must be true on some level. After all, the old Bill absolutely would’ve had Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) thrown behind bars and sought revenge on Katie (Heather Tom) by seeking full custody.
The fact that Bill turned down those chances for any reason shows progress. Bill’s always going to have a scheming side, but B&B’s managed to tone it down. He only plots when it’s necessary and even then, no lives are being put in danger. In other words, Bill’s ruthlessness has faded a bit.
Ridge, on the other hand, is becoming more insufferable every day. It’s understandable that he’d be worried about Bill and Brooke’s connection, but his attitude is all wrong. Instead of focusing on Brooke and their marriage, Ridge is focusing on the competition. He’s consumed with keeping Bill away instead of doting on Brooke and showing her they’re made to last.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers hint that Ridge could resort to more scheming. His plan to influence Judge McMullen (Joe Lando) backfired, but will that stop Ridge from striking again? No way! Ridge seems poised to sabotage himself and lose Brooke once more. That could make Ridge bitter and drive him to another round of terrible behavior.
Is Ridge becoming the new Bill? Although Bill has ulterior motives, he’s trying to change for the better. Ridge is getting worse and worse, so maybe we should consider him the closest thing B&B has to a villain! We’ll give you updates as other Bold and the Beautiful news comes in.
