The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Liam (Scott Clifton) has chosen to become involved with his former wife while his current spouse is pregnant. What type of man does that? Yes, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), you should focus on your baby and let Hope (Annika Noelle) have him.
This scribe isn’t arguing that Steffy is a saint. She sinned with Bill (Don Diamont) and few people, if any, could ever compartmentalize that heinous betrayal. However, that situation doesn’t justify Liam taking up with Hope during his wife’s pregnancy.
Is Liam that badly in need of romantic companionship that he can’t wait until Steffy has their daughter before engaging in multiple smooch sessions with Hope? Granted he is fully familiar with her, even though she looks different since returning from Europe (wink). But still, Liam appears unable to restrain his animalistic urges.
If anyone was ever as wishy-washy as Little Lord Liam, then please respond with the character’s name. In the fictional world, this Mr. Spencer could be nominated for best portrayal of a push-over in daytime.
Meanwhile, there’s Steffy who’s now constantly fretting about whether Liam will file the annulment papers. As B&B fans recall, Clifton’s character was quick to have that legal item prepared and then served the documents to Steffy himself. His wife recently agreed to sign them, but that only happened due to Bill’s insistence.
Steffy put her mother’s best interest above her own in opting to sign her name aside of Liam’s. Doing so kept Taylor (Hunter Tylo) from going to jail for having admitted to being Bill’s shooter. Of course Liam knows nothing about that. Telling him likely would have resulted in Hope relaying said information to the authorities in Los Angeles. She would have claimed civic duty as an excuse in that hypothesized act.
It won’t be easy for her, but it looks as though Liam won’t be able to overcome his feelings. That means he’s likely heading back to Hope, while simultaneously becoming a father to Steffy’s child.
Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and all concerned viewers know that Bill’s desire to be with Steffy is capable of happening. Steffy has never denied her latent feelings for Bill. Once she recognizes that Liam has given up on her she could be vulnerable to Dollar Bill’s charms once again.
Speaking directly to the actors, Clifton, Wood, and Noelle are currently combining to create a terrifically tense threesome. Their performances deliver within each scene, evoking rightly mixed feelings from the audience. Kudos to B&B’s creative team and to this trio of performers.
