The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) will be faced with a difficult decision, and that his decision will have some ramifications for two of the people he loves. Ridge is just getting used to the idea that Hope (Annika Noelle) and Liam (Scott Clifton) are married and that Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is on her own. He’d probably like to avoid any more conflict between Steffy and Hope for the near future.
But it seems that he will be placed right into the middle of a conflict between his daughter and step-daughter. B&B spoilers say that Ridge will be forced to make a choice that will directly impact both Hope and Steffy. Chances are, the decision will have something to do with Forrester Creations, where Ridge is Co-CEO with Steffy.
So far, Hope and Steffy have not had issues with each other on the job. Hope’s got her Hope For The Future line, which has been a smash success thus far. And Steffy’s doing great as Co-CEO – she’s unveiled a well-received business plan and has reinstated The Bedroom Line.
But business can be brutal, and sometimes budgetary considerations mean that cuts have to be made. Could we be looking at a situation in which only so many resources can be allocated, and a choice has to be made whether to appropriate money to either the Hope For The Future line or The Bedroom Line?
That would certainly be a decision that co-CEOs might have to make. And if it came down to such a decision, Steffy would probably have to recuse herself from deciding, since The Bedroom Line would be involved. Ridge would likely have to make the decision on his own.
Whatever the actual decision is, Ridge will be in the hot seat, and it looks like he’ll be in the position of deciding between Hope and Steffy. Unfortunately for Hope, there’s some indication that the decision may go down against her. B&B spoilers say that Hope will soon be facing changes at work.
Could we be looking at some favoritism, with Ridge choosing to focus more of Forrester dollars and attention on Steffy’s line? Or maybe Ridge will just make a sound business decision and The Bedroom Line will truly be the better choice. The Bedroom Line features hot models and has plenty of sex appeal, so maybe it will be in Forrester’s best interests to go in that direction.
Whatever the case, there will probably be some disappointment and possibly hurt feelings on the part of whomever doesn’t get chosen. Do you think Ridge will make a fair and objective choice?
