The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Steffy (Jaqueline MacInnes Wood) and Hope (Annika Noelle) will soon be at each other’s throats again. These two seem destined to be rivals. First, they were rivals over Liam (Scott Clifton), and when that ended they became business rivals. It doesn’t seem to matter what happens, they always find a way to be on opposite sides of nearly every issue.
And there seems to be fault on both sides. Steffy is flaunting her status as lead of the Intimates line. She seems to like making decisions, like bringing Sally (Courtney Hope) on board as a designer, that will irritate Hope. And for her part, Hope is taking everything personally and questioning nearly every decision Steffy makes, including decisions that Steffy is allowed to make as co-CEO. It’s a mess.
And now the ladies are going to disagree on something else…Bill (Don Diamont). Steffy and Hope seemed to always agree when it came to Bill, namely that what he did to them and to Liam was despicable. Bill turned both of their relationships with Liam upside down and caused them great pain.
But it seems that Steffy and Hope will sharply disagree when the subject of Bill’s capabilities as a father comes up. Neither Steffy or Hope have been involved in the custody storyline, but given Steffy’s horrified reaction when Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) went on an anti-Bill-as-a-parent tirade in a recent episode, it seems that she’ll be on the pro-Bill side of the argument.
Steffy will probably argue that Bill isn’t perfect and certainly wouldn’t win any father of the year contest, but that doesn’t mean that he should be stripped of seeing Will (Finnegan George). She, like Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), may argue that Bill should be given the chance to learn and grow as a father.
But it looks like Hope will disagree, thinking that Will is probably better off not being around Bill very much. She may think that after what Bill did to his grown sons, he shouldn’t be trusted having too much unsupervised time with Will. And this would be the perfect opportunity for Steffy to call out Hope again for being judgmental…and you can see how a Steffy/Hope argument would flow from there.
However the argument actually goes down, don’t look for there to be any common ground. Rather, both ladies will likely dig their heels in and fight!
