The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) has entered yet another test of whatever may be left of her relationship with Liam (Scott Clifton). Hope (Annika Noelle) remains a known threat. But now Bill (Don Diamont) is engaging in dirty politics.
Steffy and Liam experienced a scare last week. They went to what was supposed to be a routine checkup, but sonogram images initially appeared to reveal a scary problem. Their baby daughter wasn’t moving, which was unusual.
Steam’s tie is their forthcoming child. While love isn’t lost, betrayed trust has already resulted in signed, though not yet filed, annulment papers. Liam told Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) that he’ll soon make a final decision in this regard.
If anything were to happen to their daughter, Steffy’s link to Liam could likely be lost forever. However, the sonogram scare proved to be short, as the little girl moved in the womb after her mom downed a cold drink. Both parent’s relief was followed by an emotional talk back at the cliff house.
Bill’s return from his business trip quickly turned into an opportunity when Wyatt (Darin Brooks) relayed crucial information to his dad. Dollar Bill learned that Steffy signed the annulment papers, as he’d asked her to do. That act kept Taylor (Hunter Tylo) out of prison due to a stunning reveal that tagged her as Bill’s shooter.
But B&B fans and Wyatt were flabbergasted when Bill said that he and Steffy were still co-mingling. Viewers knew he was lying, but Wyatt appeared to have that news confirmed when Steffy thanked Bill, via speaker phone, for keeping their secret. That implied withheld information related to her mother’s crime, rather than Dollar Still’s persistence, as Wyatt was falsely led to believe.
No pregnant woman should have to worry about interference from her husband’s former flame. But Steffy’s concern metastasized when Liam agreed to move onto Brooke’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) palatial estate, where Hope lives. Steffy also shouldn’t be undermined by her father-in-law, who’s using Wyatt to tell Liam that Dollar Still still exists, when it doesn’t.
Fans of Steam, along with all people of goodwill are hoping that the stress Steffy is experiencing doesn’t harm her or the baby’s health. At the same time it seems that the frayed string Liam and Steffy share is about to be broken. That’s not surprising considering Hope is pulling from one end, while Bill is pulling from the other.
