The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Steffy Refuses To Take Liam Back – Mother-To-Be Doubts Baby Daddy Loves Her Enough

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease another angle in the Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Liam (Scott Clifton) storyline. Yes, fans read the headline question correctly. The query doesn’t ask if Liam should choose to recouple with his wife, but whether this pregnant lady will take her moody husband back?

The sounds of over-reactors can be heard across the globe. Liam defenders are pounding their smartphone’s in unison. It’s good that most screens are made with impenetrable glass. Those with suddenly broken screens are now reading the remainder of this article via their backup phone, tablet, laptop, personal computer or some other device.

Okay, was Steffy taken advantage of by Bill (Don Diamont)? Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) wants to believe that. But he’s her dad. Liam and Wyatt (Darin Brooks) asked the same question. Steffy gave all men the same answer, no.

However, Ridge asserted to his daughter that Bill had various options when he learned that she was in distress. As devoted viewers recall, Liam told Steffy that he’d kissed Sally (Courtney Hope) while they were lying under the rubble of the fallen Spectra Fashions building, that Bill blew up.

The first peck came through Sally’s impulse. He kissed her back on his own volition.

So, Steffy told Liam that she was disgusted by him and left their gorgeous beach-cliff home, that Bill had generously given to Liam. B&B fans have taken note of Bill’s consistent presence within this feature. That purposeful act is also a foreshadowing of what’s coming next.

Bill somehow tracked Steffy down on that fated night, which was a bit of soapy magic injected into the script to push the arc that’s still playing out. Stepping back, if Bill doesn’t locate Steffy nothing ever happens. No drama, no intrigue, zilch. That’s not what soap opera’s are intended to be about and so this one was intentionally written to a truly dramatic space.

Steffy should have been directed to her father, or to Eric (John McCook) or even back to Liam. But Bill lusts for Steffy, so he opted to personally comfort her. This scribe won’t use the word love because he considers Bill’s thoughts about his daughter-in-law to be absolutely twisted.

Liam loves Steffy. Steffy loves Liam and is pregnant with his child.

So what if the eventual plot twist isn’t Liam resisting Steffy’s call to restore their marriage? What if Steffy eventually questions whether her husband loves her enough?

Hope (Annika Noelle) was given power by Liam and Steffy in recent weeks. Liam told Hope that he trusts her implicitly. Steffy acknowledged to Hope that she considers her a threat that can’t be stopped. Steffy also offered gratitude to Hope when Noelle’s character told Steffy that she’s interested in Leffy reuniting, because of the baby. Hope has since followed through on that promise.

This controversial, but excellently written arc will continue to deepen through the birth of Steffy and Liam’s baby. Of course this assumes that Bill didn’t have the paternity test results changed, or that the hospital somehow reported the findings wrong purely through human error. Perhaps the dream, where Baby Dollar Bill was birthed, will prove to have been a prediction? A new slew of smartphone screens will be pounded if that happens.
