The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Taylor (Hunter Tylo) needs a distraction from all the awful things she’s gone through this past year. She’s been distraught for most of the year over the on-going situation between Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Liam (Scott Clifton), and Hope (Annika Noelle).
And then there’s Taylor’s deep frustration over Bill’s (Don Diamont) interference in Steffy and Liam’s lives, a frustration that led her to shoot and nearly kill Bill. It’s all been a lot for Taylor, and she’s had virtually no allies or sounding boards other than Steffy.
But it seems that Taylor will soon find a new friend in Dr. Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady), who will soon burst onto the Los Angeles scene from London. Reese will be in town to visit his daughter Zoe (Kiara Barnes) and start a new life in LA. Zoe won’t be exactly thrilled to see her dad, or to have him hovering around at Forrester.
But it seems that Taylor will be enchanted to meet Reese. The two will be introduced at Steffy’s staffing party at Forrester, and the two will hit it off immediately. This should be great for Taylor. Whether Taylor and Reese become good friends or something more, it will be nice for Taylor to have someone else in her corner besides Steffy.
Taylor could use someone to ground her and get her mind off of her troubles, and especially off of Bill. Taylor’s currently in danger of making everyone think she’s unstable by focusing so hard on the injustices she believes have been done to her daughter. A fresh start with someone new and a new focus would do her good.
