The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) will be revealed as Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) shooter. Savvy daytime fans should feel free to add to these reasons due to their seasoned soapy nature. Any in the audience who argue against Miss Carter’s guilt should obviously be called in for questioning by Detective Sanchez (Jeremy Ray Valdez), as they are likely covering for B&B’s most notorious villain and may have even helped her.
Reason 1 – She wanted to help the Forrester family
Sheila became obsessed with Eric (John McCook) after she was written over to B&B in 1992. Her original romantic focus was Scott Grainger, Sr. (Peter Barton), who lived in Genoa City, Wisconsin, as fans of The Young and the Restless know.
Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) took hold of Sheila at Il Giardino, where she was working and appearing to mind her own business. After having it out publicly with Bill, Ridge told Sheila to kill him. Ridge specifically advised that if she wanted to help the Forrester family, she would get rid of Diamont’s character.
Reason 2 – She’s similar to John Dillinger
Where is the evidence that Sheila served her time and then was released from whatever cage she was rightfully being held in? For all viewers know, she broke out of prison, a la real life crook John Dillinger in the 1930’s. In Dillinger’s instance, he used a fake wooden gun to force his way out of jail, stole the Sheriff’s car and drove away.
Dillinger then underwent plastic surgery to change his appearance. Yes, readers, that’s another stunning fact. He then paid plastic surgeons, Wilhelm Loeser and Harold Bernard Cassidy, $5,000 to alter his face, make other cosmetic changes to his appearance and burn off his fingerprints.
While Dillinger wasn’t satisfied with the results, this old-school research sheds light on one of the soap’s most reviled techniques. Understandable past cries of such storyline schemes being unbelievable are thus revealed as being unjustified.
This scribe stands with all others who didn’t know, until he researched Dillinger, that Sheila’s face-change on Y&R wasn’t actually ridiculous. And therefore her comments last June, upon returning to Los Angeles on B&B, about identity stories being crazy are now fully suspicious.
Surely if Sheila had altered her face to look like Phyllis (then played by Michelle Stafford) during the last decade, then she could have had it changed back. For all who cite the Phyllis-version as having been shot dead by Lauren (Tracey Bregman) in 2007. Dillinger survived a shooting by using a bullet proof vest. Why couldn’t Sheila have done the same?
So, soap operas haven’t invented far-fetched scenarios when plastic surgery, or seeming deaths are woven into various arcs. Yes, they’ve applied creative license. But the basis of these incredible storylines was real life!
Considering Sheila’s Dillinger-esque duplicity, wouldn’t she have shot Bill believing that she could get away with it?
Reason 3 – Kimberlin Brown’s contract ends soon
Brown returned to B&B in stunning fashion last June, as Sheila’s revival was a total secret. That was deeply impressive in today’s social media world.
Her contract is known to be a one-year gig. Without news of an extension being offered, it’s fair to believe that her character will be written out of the show sometime this spring. That timing would match her being eventually revealed as the shooter, assuming this speculative feature proves true.
Of course, like Dillinger, Sheila could escape justice, or be thought dead after the reveal happens. Lauren should be leery in any regard. CDL is a leading source for everything linked to The Bold and the Beautiful. Check back regularly for B&B spoilers and news!
