Blake and Jennifer turn their chairs. Blake: “I want your version of that song. (Adam says that Blake is such a nerd) Your voice is so unique and it sounds like it comes from a different period in time. You sing like a singer/songwriter from the 70’s, I am mesmerized about your sound, the way that you work in your runs and things that you don’t normally hear in music today. I would be honored to be your coach man.” Jennifer: “How do I come off the heels of that? I am a fan of your voice as well. It is about the love the beautiful instrument and I had to turn my chair and hope that you will come to team J Hud.” Caeland chooses Blake to be his coach.

Madison Cain is 24 years old from California, her dad is Jonathan Kane, he is the keyboardist for Journey. Tonight Madison is singing “You Oughta Know” for her audition. None of the judges turn around. Kelly says it was almost like Madison was too perfect, she wanted her to be reckless. Blake thinks her range is incredible but she needs some anger issues to put emotion into her songs. Lucky for Madison, she is the final artist chosen to compete for the Comeback.

Lela is 15 years from Florida, and if a chair turns around for her, it will prove that everything that she has done and her parents have done for her, will be worth it. Lela sings “Havana” for her audition. Kelly and Jennifer turn their chairs. Kelly: “You are so cool and I love when you started singing in Spanish. I think it is a cool part of radio right now and they’re not enough people doing it, nobody has done that this season, it was so cool” Jennifer asks her what age she was when she began performing, she says seven, the same as Jennifer. Adam said she was great, but his team is getting full. Blake thought it was incredible and can’t wait to see what is going to happen. Lela chooses Jennifer to be her coach.

Cody Ray Raymond, as a child he had a lot of hard things to get through and he realized he wanted purpose, so he joined the military. After he left the military, he started playing on the streets in Seattle. Cody will be singing “Born Under A Bad Sign” for his audition. Kelly and Jennifer turn their chairs. Kelly: “That was so good, your runs were crazy. Thank you for your service. It sounded effortless and that is what I love.” Jennifer: “You were so soulful. At J Hud Productions we love a challenge and what makes a single great is when you can sing about your story, that is what you gave us. You have a melody in your voice.” Cody chooses Kelly to be his coach.

Jake Wells is 23 years old and has been touring with his family singing gospel music. Jake is singing “When The Stars Go Blue” for his audtion. At the last second, Adam turns his chair. Adam: “I turned around for one reason, I thought to myself, this dude is different and I love that.” Jennifer: “You have many different layers to your voice,, I commend you for turning around Adam, we can’t let voices like this be missed.”

Abby Cates is a singing Princess from Cincinatti. Last summer she was riding a horse and she broke three of her vertebrae, it was super scary and her only outlet was music. Abby is singing “Scars To Your Beautiful” for her audition. Kelly turns her chair. Kelly: “Your tone was so cool in the beginning and I was wondering if you could go high and you did.” Kelly gives Abby her jacket.

Funsho is 28 from Nigeria and they didn’t have a lot of money. His father brought his family to America to provide them all with a better life. Funsho is singing “Finesse” for his audtion. Adam, Jennider and Kelly turn their chairs. Adam: “That higher part of your voice shows me that you have it all. It is amazing to hear a vocalist that is so complete. It was scary to turn first because I didn’t want to show my hand, but I lead and they follow.” Kelly: “I think is amazing that you can come out here and do that song, make it your own was really hard to do. I would love you on my team, you would be a great addition.” Jennifer: “I am Jennifer and I hope to be your coach. You are such a great vocalist, you were riding every note, you were amazing.” Funsho chooses Adam to be his coach.

The End!
