The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Jack’s (Peter Bergman) world will be turned upside down. He was terrified when Dina (Marla Adams) suddenly went missing in Europe. That experience undoubtedly made Jack think about what it’d be like to lose Dina forever. Jack knows that day will eventually come, but it’s still tough to accept.
Unfortunately, another shocker could easily force Jack to consider the inevitable. During the week of March 26-30, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Jack will be rocked by a bombshell. There’s a good chance the whole Abbott clan will be affected by this. Will Dina’s health take a serious hit? That would force this family to come together for the crisis.
March 26-30 also happens to be when Y&R’s celebrating its 45th anniversary, so this would be the perfect time for some flashbacks and fond memories. Perhaps Dina will have to be hospitalized. That’d give the Abbotts and a few close friends a chance to reminisce. They could await word on Dina’s condition and comfort themselves with old stories.
Killing Dina off during the anniversary episodes would be a real downer, so it seems likely that she’d pull through for now. Mal Young, Y&R’s head writer and executive producer, has vowed to keep Dina around for as long as he can. He’s determined to show the slow and painful decline of Alzheimer’s, so Dina may live for a while.
Still, storylines like this can be unpredictable. The Abbotts certainly won’t know how much longer they’ll have Dina in their lives. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle (Michael Mealor) will return in time for the anniversary festivities. Jack may want his son to get to know Dina before her mind’s completely gone.
Abby (Melissa Ordway) might push for that as well. The more support Dina has, the better off she’ll be. The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that some poignant scenes are in the works.
