The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, January 26, tease that J.T. (Thad Luckinbell) will get caught at the hospital. When Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) bumps into J.T. on his way out, she’ll wonder what’s up. J.T. will promise he’s OK before darting for the exit.
Naturally, Nikki will call Victoria (Amelia Heinle) with updates. Once J.T. returns home, Victoria will confront him about his hospital visit. J.T. will admit that after he was electrocuted, his heart never made a full recovery. He’ll note that he was checking in with a doctor.
J.T. will add that he takes pills to stay in good health. Victoria will suggest that maybe J.T.’s medication affects his mood, but he’ll dismiss the idea. J.T. will feel like he has to take responsibility for having a short temper at times.
Across town, Traci (Beth Maitland) will find her siblings bickering again. At the Abbott mansion, Jack (Peter Bergman) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) will rehash all the recent drama. When Traci gets back from Paris, she’ll let them know Dina’s (Marla Adams) settled in. Traci will push Ash and Jack to tell her what went down while she was away.
Ashley will declare that she left Jabot and is out of Jack’s life. Traci will try her best to help them make peace, but Ashley will refuse. She’ll vow to start her own company and promptly storm out. Traci will scold Jack over the blood-relative amendment. She’ll think he threw Ashley’s paternity in her face after years of proclaiming that it didn’t matter.
When Victor hears about Ashley’s plans, he’ll have another idea in mind. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor will ask for Nikki’s support on this. She’ll back him up as he offers Ashley a new job. Victor will tempt Ashley with a position created just for her. She can be Newman’s chief innovation officer.
Ashley will point out that Victor probably just wants Jack to suffer. She’ll be unsure about accepting the offer, but Victor will persist. He’ll argue that this is the opportunity of a lifetime. While Ashley gets hears this amazing proposal, Devon (Bryton James) will try to show Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) the door. He’ll announce that she’s fired from the label thanks to her journal-stealing antics.
Tessa will beg for mercy, so Devon will offer her a different job at his company. He’ll take pity on her since she needs the money, but he won’t tolerate any more mistakes. At Sharon’s (Sharon Case) place, Noah (Robert Adamson) will rip into Mariah (Camryn Grimes) for betraying and deceiving him. She’ll apologize and admit the guilt was terrible.
Mariah will promise that Tessa only wanted to be with Noah, but he’ll continue to rant. Once Sharon appears, she’ll try to hold Tessa responsible. Noah will become even more agitated when he realizes Sharon’s been lying, too. Y&R spoilers state that he’ll really be fuming!
Afterward, Noah will confront Tessa and insist that there’s no trust between them. He’ll accuse her of being after his money. Noah will break Tessa’s heart by declaring that they’re done.
