The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will get some shocking news. They’ll hear a major bombshell over the police scanner, so be prepared for some hot drama. It turns out J.T.’s (Thad Luckinbell) phone signal will be back on. Paul (Doug Davidson) will certainly monitor the situation in hopes that it’ll lead him straight to J.T.
Of course, Nick will also look into this. He’ll be excited about the possibility of finally catching J.T. and throwing him behind bars. Meanwhile, Phyllis will freak over this stunning development. She’ll probably summon Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Sharon (Sharon Case) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) for a meeting ASAP. They need to discuss what they’ll do if the phone incriminates them.
There’s a good chance Phyllis will face some backlash. She obviously failed to dispose of the evidence properly, so she should get an earful from the others. However, Phyllis won’t think this is the time to point fingers, especially since she’s at fault. She’ll insist they have to think fast and come up with a way to handle this. They should be ready in case Paul returns with more questions.
Later, Young and the Restless spoilers say the cover-up crew’s fears will grow stronger. J.T.’s cell signal will inch closer and closer to Victoria’s house, so this should be nerve-racking. Things are sure to be stressful for the squad! Phyllis and the others will wonder who managed to get their hands on the phone. They’ll be concerned about what this person’s plans are.
Naturally, the returning cell phone signal has fans asking an important question. Could J.T. still be alive? After J.T. was buried, Soap Opera Digest confirmed that Thad Luckinbell had wrapped up his stint. They revealed that J.T. had indeed met his maker. Unless Y&R throws in some twist they’ve hidden from SOD and other soap news outlets, J.T. will remain dead and gone.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say another Genoa City resident will be in possession of the phone. Will it be someone who might keep the secret? Billy (Jason Thompson) would be a great option here. He might mention it to Phyllis, learn the whole ugly story and be sworn to secrecy.
