The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Kyle (Michael Mealor) will look forward to a happy holiday. It’s clear that he’s quite smitten with Lola (Sasha Calle), so he’ll be on cloud nine as he prepares for Christmas. Santa’s been good to him this year! Kyle feels like he’s found his dream girl, so he’ll want to make her feel special and keep this romance going strong into 2019.
Lola and Kyle’s relationship got off to a rocky start thanks to Summer (Hunter King), but Kyle didn’t give up. He was able to smooth things over and make Lola see that she was the only one he wanted. Of course, they’ve also had to work on communicating and understanding each other. Wealthy Kyle comes from a very different world than Lola, which has been another hurdle to overcome.
When Kyle offered to back Lola’s restaurant financially, she wasn’t on board with the idea. Lola didn’t want that kind of support from her boyfriend and feared it make their relationship too complicated. Kyle understood and respected Lola’s desire to make stuff happen for herself. Now she’s got chef gig in the works, so everything’s working out.
Unfortunately, another relationship snag’s about to hit and it’ll once again involve money. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle’s Christmas present will really rub Lola the wrong way. She’ll open the box and find an expensive handbag inside.
Kyle will be taken aback when Lola declares that he doesn’t know her at all. She’ll take this gift as some sort of proof that they shouldn’t be together.
It certainly sounds like Lola will be overreacting. Many girls carry handbags and maybe Kyle just thought it looked like her style. So what if it was a little expensive? Why should Kyle have to make macaroni art when he’s got plenty of cash to spend?
It’s obvious that Kyle won’t be trying to show off with this present. Gift-giving is hard, particularly when the other person apparently has such strict standards. Poor Kyle will be left wondering how it all went so horribly wrong.
He may try to apologize, but that won’t help. Y&R fans can expect Lola to break up with Kyle over the handbag debacle. A fancy purse will be the ultimate deal-breaker!
However, there may be another side to this story. Lola is a virgin and doesn’t want to move too fast with Kyle. Since their romance is heating up, perhaps Lola will be looking for any excuse to run away. This may be more about fear and less about Kyle’s Christmas shopping failure.
Regardless, Lola really needs to take a closer look at Kyle’s heart. It’s clearly in the right place! The Young and the Restless spoilers say there’s still hope for Lola and Kyle’s future. They’ve already survived worse than this in their short romance, so they should bounce back and reunite eventually.
