The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Abby (Melissa Ordway) will take drastic measures to avoid Scott (Daniel Hall). Now that their fling has been exposed, Abby just wants to put the ordeal behind her. She’s attracted to Scott, but she still can’t stand him most of the time.
Scott’s pining for Sharon (Sharon Case) now anyway. He’s longing for what he just lost. Scott had a good thing going with Sharon, but he blew it for one sex session and a few kisses. Sharon certainly won’t be ready to forgive Scott anytime soon.
As for Abby, she reveals her new plan in Friday’s new Y&R episode, January 5. With Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) approval, Abby’s putting her new assignment with Scott on hold. Instead, Abby and Lily (Christel Khalil) will be visiting Paris for a different project.
That’ll buy Abby some time while all this drama blows over. There’s a good chance Abby’s trip will be extended at some point. Lily may return home while Abby stays behind to carry on a bit more business.
This would give The Young and the Restless a way to explain Melissa Ordway’s maternity leave. It’d be the perfect solution to their problem. Having Abby out of the picture could actually be useful to the story right now. If Scott moved on with Abby immediately, it wouldn’t be very satisfying.
Scott behaved horribly and he doesn’t deserve to get his backup girlfriend yet. Y&R fans want to watch Scott suffer. He’ll undoubtedly keep trying to get Sharon back, but she may not budge. Scott will probably end up broken and alone for the time being. Let’s hope Scott will be absolutely miserable without loyal Sharon or easy Abby!
Before Abby takes off, she’ll have a change of heart about how she treated Sharon. Maybe someone will help Abby see Sharon’s side of the situation. Abby’s been acting like none of this is her fault. It’s true that most of the blame falls on Scott, but Abby isn’t completely innocent. If Abby was in a committed relationship with Scott and he was kissing Sharon all over town, she would feel differently.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Abby will offer Sharon a heartfelt apology next week. Will Sharon accept it after all the nastiness? Regardless, at least Abby can head for Paris knowing that she tried. We’ll give you updates as other Y&R news comes in.
