The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that more drama’s ahead for the Newman clan. Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) still reeling from Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) getaway, but the paternity shocker isn’t far behind. As Nick deals with that chaos, it’ll be time for Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) to face another round of shockers.
Y&R fans know that Victor (Eric Braeden) recently covered Chelsea’s tracks – or so he thought. He tried to make the scam backlash go away by returning the money to Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman). Of course, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) managed to dig around and make the Victor-Chelsea connection. It won’t be long until Nikki puts everything together, too.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nikki will by shocked by this discovery. She’ll definitely confront her sneaky husband. Nikki may be outraged that Victor would let Chelsea dupe everyone. She might argue that Victor should’ve turned Chelsea in for her crimes.
Once Nikki ponders the situation, she may realize Victor’s hiding more than one cover-up. Nikki will know there must’ve been a good reason why Victor handled this quietly. She won’t buy the idea that Victor felt any great loyalty to Chelsea. Nikki may push Victor to tell her the whole story.
Victor might as well come clean about his hidden alliance and how it came about. Since Nick will find out Christian’s (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) paternity on this week’s new Y&R episodes, February 26 – March 2, he would probably fill Nikki in anyway. Victor might talk about how he wanted to spare both Nick and Christian pain. That was one blow he wasn’t willing to deliver.
Despite their feud, Nick is still Victor’s son. There’s an unbreakable bond whether they want to admit it or not. Plus, Victor could contend that he was considering Christian’s future. He might point out that he wanted Christian to believe he still had a living parent.
After Victor explains his deception, Nikki may understand. There was a lot at stake, so Victor and even Chelsea tried to do what they thought was best. It was rough on them after Adam died, but they wanted to honor his wishes.
