The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that the Abbott family will have to deal with another major crisis. Thanks to Dina’s (Marla Adams) recent revelation, Abby’s (Melissa Ordway) trying to do some digging. She’s determined to find out if Dina’s telling the truth about Jack’s (Peter Bergman) father.
It’s possible that Dina’s story is accurate, which would make Jack someone other than John’s (Jerry Douglas) son. That news would obviously devastate Jack, but there could be more shockers to come. When Jack and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) went to war over Jabot, he used his sister’s paternity against her. John wasn’t Ashley’s biological father, but that never mattered – until the corporate chaos hit.
Jack delivered a low blow through the blood-Abbott bylaw. Ashley and Jack’s hostility quickly spiraled out of control. Things are still pretty tense since the devastation drove Ash to work at Newman. However, some new developments could really rev up the battle.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Abby will continue her efforts to prove Dina’s story. As Dina reveals more info about her former lover, Abby will just feel like it all adds up. Something will tell her that Dina’s memory may be reliable in this case. If Abby’s able to confirm it, she’ll undoubtedly want to spill everything to Jack.
To take things a step further, let’s consider another revelation that could completely change the game. Dina obviously had her fair share of affairs, but she loved John once upon a time as well. Could Dina have been mistaken about Ashley’s father? What if Ash belonged to John after all?
John never found out about the paternity shocker before his death. He fully believed Ashley was his daughter. Perhaps John had it right all along. In other words, Y&R could be gearing up for a serious switch. Ashley might be the biological Abbott and Jack may be the sibling who’s a product of a fling.
That would certainly throw the Abbott clan for a loop! Ashley might decide to make a comeback at Jabot and fight for her spot at the top. This could also send Jack on a dangerous downward spiral. His world could crumble around him as he processes such a huge shift within his family.
