The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Thursday, October 11 – Jack Demands Blackmail Answers from Ashley – Note Sender Suspect Emerges

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update and recap for Thursday, October 11, tease that Kyle (Michael Mealor) will seek answers. He’ll be determined to learn Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson) secrets and make her pay the price for them. Jack (Peter Bergman) will push Kyle to just support Ash and leave it alone. However, Kyle will feel like there’s a hot scoop just waiting to be discovered.

After Kyle gets caught rummaging around Ashley’s office, he’ll make up an excuse and head out. Ashley will look wary of Kyle and his shady agenda. Later, Kyle will fill Jack in on the flimsy consulting charges. He won’t think Ashley was really doing any consulting with Andrew (Coby Ryan McLaughlin).

Jack and Kyle will end up confronting Ashley at Jabot. The Young and the Restless spoilers say she’ll blame the payments on damage control. Ash will lie that she was cleaning up a mess Billy (Jason Thompson) left behind. Jack will be concerned about Andrew’s blackmail, but she’ll yell that she can handle this herself.

In a car, Ashley will meet up with Andrew again. She’ll note that she’s recorded their meetings and can frame the story any way she wants. Ashley will give Andrew one last round of hush money and suggest that this is the end of the road.

Meanwhile, Cane (Daniel Goddard) will visit Lily (Christel Khalil) in prison. He’ll notice she’s agitated, so she’ll snap that this is her life now. Lily will urge Cane to accept that as well. Talk will turn to another prisoner that Lily’s worried about. Cane will grow wary about Lily being exploited, but she’ll just lash out again.

Y&R spoilers say Cane will ultimately back off a bit and express his support. He’ll understand that this experience is changing Lily, but he’s always going to love her. At Crimson Lights, Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) will support a glum Sharon (Sharon Case) in Mariah’s (Camryn Grimes) absence. She’ll thank Sharon for everything she’s done and wish she could do something in return.

Sharon will think Tessa’s already doing it by making Mariah happy. She’ll suggest that there’s only one other favor she could ask for. Sharon will want Tessa to cover for her when Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) arrives. Tessa will do some trash talking and promise to have Sharon’s back if the need arises. She’ll shoot an evil glare as Phyllis enters.

Once they’re alone, Sharon and Phyllis will spar over the threatening letters. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will eventually join them. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Tessa will appear to take coffee orders and get on Phyllis’ nerves. She’ll linger a little too long, but Sharon will politely shoo her away.

Victoria will close the patio door and suggest that they can’t keep sniping at each other. She’ll argue that there’s too much at stake. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victoria and the gang will ponder their tough situation. They’ll view the sender as a real threat who knows too much.

Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) will be suggested as an option, but Sharon won’t seem to buy it. Nikki will shut down the idea that Victor’s (Eric Braeden) to blame. Victoria will contend that no matter who sent the notes, something’s coming. All four ladies will gaze in Tessa’s direction, but is the nosy barista truly responsible?

Tessa’s dialogue lately has been all about past mistakes. If she’s genuinely on a better path as she claims, Tessa could be a red herring that leads to wrongful accusations. No one be surprised if desperate Tessa stooped that low, but maybe she deserves the benefit of the doubt – especially since Y&R loves twists.
