The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Tuesday, July 17 Update – Hilary’s Top-Secret Meeting Interrupted – Nick Faces Brutal Backlash

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Tuesday, July 17, tease that Victor (Eric Braeden) will spread the word about Nick (Joshua Morrow). He’ll insist that all of Newman’s troubles should be blamed on his son. Victor will explain that Nick impersonated J.T. (Thad Luckinbill), so Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will be absolutely appalled.

At Sharon’s (Sharon Case) place, she’ll continue to rant about Nick’s ruthless strategy. It won’t be long until Nikki and Victoria join the confrontation. They’ll feel like Nick went too far, but he won’t regret his actions. Nick will hate that he caused pain, but he’d do it all again if he had to. He’ll maintain that his dirty tactics were for Christian’s (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) sake.

Nick’s icy demeanor will stun all three ladies. After Nikki stomps off, she’ll meet back up with Victor. He’ll get updates on Nick’s lack of remorse and imply that his son hasn’t won yet. Over with Billy (Jason Thompson) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), their argument will really get heated. Summer (Hunter King) won’t be spared Phyllis’ wrath either, so Y&R fans can expect major drama.

Billy and Summer will attempt to explain their secretive behavior, but that plan won’t pan out. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis will march upstairs and pack a bag for Billy. She’ll fling it down to him and insist that she can’t live with a man she doesn’t trust. Despite Summer’s pleas, Billy will accept the situation and head for the door.

Meanwhile, Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) and Shauna’s (Camryn Hamm) relationship will blossom. They’ll admit they’re falling in love and make plans for sex the following night. Across town, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will marvel over the rest of her date with Tessa (Cait Fairbanks). She’ll struggle to believe they’re actually doing this.

At the athletic club, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) will talk to a man named Mark. She’ll be grateful that he was willing to be discreet about this meeting. Suddenly, Mariah and Tessa will appear. They’ll decide to say hello and when they do, Mariah will mention that they’re on a date.

Hilary will suggest that it doesn’t surprise her. After introducing Mark as an old friend, she’ll hurry the lovebirds along. Afterward, Mariah and Tessa will head back up to The Dive Bar. They’ll hold hands and share another long-awaited kiss. Back with Hilary, she’ll return to her conversation with Mark. She’ll be a little concerned that Tessa and Mariah saw them together.

Hilary will also talk about Mark painting a tempting picture, but she’ll refuse to risk everything she’s built with Devon (Bryton James). She won’t want anyone to find out the real reason they met this evening. Has Hilary received an enticing job offer elsewhere? That seems like a good option since her exit is rapidly approaching.
