The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that J.T. (Thad Luckinbell) will continue to be an abusive monster and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will continue to make bad decisions. It’s the perfect storm for major trouble on the CBS soap. On Thursday’s episode, J.T. does his best to convince Victoria that he’s sorry for attacking her. He promises he won’t lay a hand on her again and Victoria has sex with him.
It’s clear that J.T. has a strange grip on Victoria. Many Y&R fans have been complaining since Victoria never used to be the type of woman who would put up with this. She’s dumped guys over minor arguments in the past, so some viewers can’t understand her motivation for staying with J.T.
That’s valid criticism of this Y&R storyline, but perhaps the show is trying to convey something important. You certainly don’t have to be weak to be a victim of domestic violence. Plenty of people are affected by abuse that comes in all shapes and forms. It’s easy for a victim’s mind to get warped in the thick of it.
Maybe that’s what’s happening with Victoria. She’s not acting like the character we’ve come to know because life with J.T. is taking a toll on her. Victoria’s not thinking clearly anymore and that’s not her fault. J.T. is the one to blame here.
Unfortunately, another violent outburst is most likely in the works. J.T. may think he’s going to control his anger next time, but that probably won’t be the case. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victoria will find out what J.T.’s been up to eventually. She’ll be furious when she realizes he’s been plotting against Victor (Eric Braeden) behind her back.
J.T. lashed out at Victoria for using him in her Ashley (Eileen Davidson) takedown scheme. She’ll undoubtedly think J.T.’s a hypocrite since he was busy using her as well. It sounds like another explosive fight is coming up. Will J.T. cross the line once again? Could his next attack be even worse?
The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that danger is indeed brewing. It’s possible that Victoria will end up in the hospital after J.T. snaps. He may fly into a rage and hurl Victoria against something. If she hits her head, this could turn into a stunning emergency.
