Blue Bloods begins tonight with Sid Gormley (Robert Clohessy) brings in NYPD Police Commissioner Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) into the Precinct because someone he arrested had his courtesy card, but he cannot understand how someone he never heard of would have his card in the first place; but Sid informs him that she said she got it from her dad. They open the door and it is his old partner Lenny Ross (Treat Williams) and it is his daughter who is in jail with narcotics and weapons charges, who claims she was carrying the things for a friend. Frank reminds him no courtesy card skates a felony charge ever and orders him to put the violin away.

ADA Erin Reagan(Bridget Moynahan) has some questions for her assault victim, Olivia Wright who already spoke to detectives, claiming she didn’t see her assailant. Anthony Abetemarco (Steve Schirripa) explains this is John Spencer, Olivia’s boyfriend who just wants to know she is okay and would just like to know she is okay. He has an injured hand and is told not to answer any questions by his own lawyer; both of whom do not like each other and she escorts John out of the hospital.

Jamie Reagan (Will Estes) and Eddie Janko (Vanessa Ray) arrive at work to meet with Captain Robert Espinoza (Luis Antonio Ramos), who want “heads up” and want to stay in the 2-9, even though they are still on their honeymoon. Janko-Reagan can move to midnights and offers them a card for their new house. Meanwhile, Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg) and Maria Baez (Marisa Ramirez) walk through the park where they are meeting a psychic medium, Maggie Gibson (Callie Thorne). He finds her odd but she has helped them before. They follow her through the brush where she introduces them to Adam Miller, whose daughter Emily disappeared a year earlier and they found her 2 weeks later in that exact spot. She feels this could be their case; insisting the detective on the case is going the wrong direction. He just wants someone to help him. Baez gives Danny this look!

Frank. Sid and Lenny go for breakfast where he admits he checked everything out what his daughter told him, admitting it isn’t Carrie’s first brush with the law and she figured out how to skim from the till and he let it slide; until it happened repeatedly and then from a seasonal place. Frank doesn’t understand why he never knew about his daughter and Lenny feels he thought he would think it was just another screw up as she just showed up at the age of 21 and fully formed whereas he raised his.

Baez feels they are taking the case over, but Danny says they will go through the motions so they can tell Maggie and Mr. Miller they at least tried; something Baez doesn’t feel right about. She thinks it is going to piss off the entire squad and the detective who is assigned to it.

Erin talks to Anthony about Attorney Colby who hasn’t lost a case in two years as she is a very good lawyer as he reminds her that she is very good and not one to shy away from a good fight; but she wonders how much of it is true that she has a reputation of being a bitch. He is an “in your face” kind of guy and pisses people off too, but people say he has balls and he is great and so now she knows she is one. He found a video that Olivia was being thrown from a car but the license plate is illegible and Spencer isn’t helping so … but Erin interjects, saying Olivia has no idea that Spencer won’t help them.

Jamie and Janko are looking at apartments and the rent is ridiculously low, so he wants to know if the discount is because they are cops, especially the son and daughter-in-law of the PC automatically making it the safest blocks of the city. She advises them to stop looking gift horses in their mouths.

Danny and Maria go with Maggie to Emily’s room where she was taken from, asking her if it is easy that she relays messages to a dead girl’s father and to communicate to a girl who died so violently? She tells Danny to forget it; just than Baez tells him the DNA came back and is connected to two other cases. So the SOB killed 3 little girls!!

Frank sits with Sid and Garrett Moore (Gregory Jbara) as they review what Lenny told him about his daughter Carrie, looking at her jacket without any external information. They have the arrest on video and audio, everyone knowing it was Lenny Ross’ daughter. Sid knows Lenny is Frank’s old partner and they all want to know when it is no longer his responsibility to help out Lenny when his daughter is in trouble. Abigail Baker (Abigail Hawk) walks in and brings in more information before Carrie was revealed to be Lenny’s daughter, and the file is just bigger and bigger. The only thing is that when Lenny shows up is more trouble is brewing.

Maggie arrives at the precinct, but Danny isn’t there. She asks Maria if she remembers her mentioning an art studio? She reveals the killer is luring the girls to the studio to use them as subjects for the paintings and begins to leave, but Baez stops her asking her to leave Danny alone as she is only disrupting his life. Maggie insists she isn’t disrupting Danny’s life, but Maria says getting him to take his ring off is and involving him in cases is. She wants to know why she is doing this is. Maggie says she had a daughter who was murdered and she found by giving back to others helped her heal, she understands that she is protecting her partner but she certainly doesn’t need to protect him from her!

Anthony questions Olivia, showing her the video of her being thrown from Spencer’s car, saying they know it is his car; she tries to explain, asking her if she wants to spend her life with him as Anthony presses, saying he tells his daughter to never let anyone disrespect her even if he spoils her and she has the power to put this guy away with the truth and he can never hurt her again. She mulls it over, looking at him.

Carrie meets with Frank, who explains courtesy given gets courtesy in return and she agrees until he says he wants the truth. She says she is telling him the truth. He takes her pop, but she says she isn’t done with it, but he says she is as the lab can get the DNA off it by tonight and she needs to ask herself how good his bluff is as he is calling it. She asks for a lawyer, but his courtesy is something she would rather avoid but she can call a lawyer. He explains how she knew about her mom and Lenny, finding out about his fancy Florida lifestyle and she thought she could catch that lifestyle. She admits she has a half-sister and she got it from her. Frank is shocked that her half-sister is Lenny’s daughter. She says her sister is hell on wheels, and she did them all a favor by doing this.

Colby comes to see Erin with an offer, but she declines only giving her assault 2. Erin wonders how she can defend someone who preys on women but she calls Olivia a gold digger. She informs her that Olivia will be testifying him against in court and Colby seems fine with it, looking forward to it in fact.

Eddie reminds Jamie that marriage is about compromise, making Jamie wondering if their RC sent them out to see if this is all a test to see if they are going to use their last name to get what they want. Meanwhile, Danny and Baez are busy working to find out who the murdering artist is and they find him just messaging a 16-year-old girl named Amanda Wallace (Quinn McColgan) to see if she will meet him at the Third Street Playground, Prospect Park, in 20 minutes and they race off to catch the meeting.

They spot Amanda and realize Maggie was there too and found out who the man was and Maggie is chasing the killer while they attend to the shaken teen.

Frank sits at the table with his father, Henry “Pops” Reagan (Len Cariou) , talking about getting Carrie immunity to keep the secret, a second chance to turn her life around and have Lenny as her father; letting Lenny keep believing he is her father. Pops doesn’t think he is right in letting him let Lenny believe this grifter is his daughter, considering where the words are coming from; Frank explains what Lenny said about why he hid why he had a daughter. Pops says he should invite Lenny for dinner to see what the family is really like on Sundays.

Jamie and Janko meet with the Captain and tell him they have decided to both stay at the 2-9, with her working midnights. He asks about the house hunting, they like Eileen but they are not comfortable taking that kind of housing with that kind of name. He admits it was not mostly a test but confirmed that they take the high road on all things because that is how they built. He has a place where his mother lived that is rent-controlled and he offers it to them, they thank him for it.

Sunday dinner with Lenny is interesting as they discuss cops wearing cameras and how they are a lot like nanny cams, causing Erin to get defensive. Pops and Frank smirk at each other because they are making the exact point they wanted to for Lenny. Lenny agrees with Danny but Erin hops in the middle but Frank disagrees and another argument erupts. Jamie grabs the mallet and demands to know why this squabble is happening as he believes it is for Lenny’s benefit. Lenny admits he knows why, and thanks, Frankie.

The next day, Danny and Baez watch as the man Abducts Maggie, they zoom in on the plate and it comes back to a moving company on Long Island “Big Al”; which explains the murders in New Jersey and Long Island.

Court begins for the injuries to Olivia Wright against John Spencer (David Coussins). She admits he pays her $8000 rent and buys her expensive bags, but she denies that he has hit her and only lied that he hit her because she felt pressured. He smirks from his seat.

Danny and Maria arrive at Raymond Klinger’s (Ian Mclaughlin) home, who drove for the company for 4 years, right around the time the murders started. He has paintings of several girls around the house, but hear the car door slam. He puts his hands on the steering wheel and throws the keys outside the car but warns them to stay back and has a zippo lighter in his hands and several cans of fluid on the ground. Danny just wants to talk, saying he will never tell what happened to Maggie Gibson. Danny opens the car determined to find Maggie. He finds her in the trunk and is able to pull her out moments before the car explodes. Maria, Maggie and Danny are safe.

Erin is outside Olivia’s place but Anthony orders her not to go in, she can hear shouting but he orders her to not go in. She tells him to call 9-11 and she goes in. She has a butcher knife in her hands as she raises her gun towards John. John grabs the knife and stabs Olivia in the stomach with it and Erin is forced to shot him in the shoulder; Anthony arrives a few moments later, arresting John.

At the hospital, Colby tells Erin it is too bad she wasn’t a better shot. Erin says she cannot be speaking to her, but she says he is not a client any more as his true color emerged so if she needs representation; Erin passes but she is glad she is okay. Anthony hears Erin tell him that Colby was looking for absolution. Spencer was arraigned for murder at the bedside as Olivia’s prognosis was good, but he reprimands her for going in alone. He gives her praise for her guts.

Danny is glad Maggie will be okay and the little girl will be okay because of her. He apologizes for giving her a hard time and trying to be open for her gift/curse; it tends to alienate people, something she is used to. He offers to drive her home. Baez walks in, offering to drive him home and he agrees as Maggie says she will catch up with him another time.

Lenny walks with Frank, who was surprised he pulled work release for Carrie and Frank confesses that Carrie is not his daughter, explaining that Carrie stole the DNA from her sister and her sister is there on the other side of the door, but he doesn’t have to. She is in for grand larceny auto. She has no idea what is going on and is sitting in the common room, but Frank says he is a cop and will know exactly which one is his daughter as Frank smiles leaving him there to do what is right.

Lenny walks in and spots a girl reading a Motor Unlimited magazine, offering his condolences for once knowing her mother. She figures out how well he knew her mother and she tells him to sit down. Frank stands outside figuring if what he did was right.

Jamie and Eddie look at the new place, where he tells them to stop jabbing each other, where he tells them an old tradition and he carries her over their threshold. She says how about she is Officer Janko at work and Mrs. Reagan at home, something he thoroughly enjoys as he carries her over and the super takes a photo.

THE END
