Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Lani Price (Sal Stowers) and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) will find their way back to each other. DOOL fans know Eli got fed up with Lani over her latest baby obsession. She was spending all her time with David Ridgeway and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), so Eli thought a breakup was the only solution.
Lani even made a pitch to be a family with Rafe and David, but she now understands she was trying to fill the void in her heart. Eli was right in some ways – and wrong in others. He was spot-on about Lani’s fixation on David and attempt to replace their dead son. However, Eli could’ve handled the whole thing with a little more compassion. That’s what Rafe did, and Lani ultimately saw the light.
It’s a good thing she did since now “ELani’s” reunion can get underway. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Lani and Eli will have a long talk about what they went through. It seems Lani buried her emotions instead of truly working through them. Eli was certainly affected by their child’s death, but the loss hit Lani harder. It’s something she’s been struggling with, even if she didn’t always realize it.
Now that Lani knows she needs to tackle her grief, perhaps it’ll be easier for her to lean on Eli. He’ll probably be sorry he didn’t try harder to reach her. There’s still a lot of love left between these two, so it won’t take long for them to figure this out. DOOL fans can expect a summer of love for Lani and Eli. In fact, Days spoilers state that they’ll get engaged!
Eli will decide he’s meant to be with Lani forever. He’ll pop the question and give her a gorgeous ring to deal the deal. Lani will happily accept Eli’s offer of marriage and prepare for their future together. Of course, Days of Our Lives spoilers say there could be some bumps in the road. Wedding plans tend to bring those, especially on soaps!
Even so, it’ll be nice to see some happiness for Lani and Eli. They deserve it after all the pain they’ve endured.
