Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Jack Formally Apologizes To Abe - Makes Amends To Old Friend

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Jack Deveraux will have some more amends to make. As DOOL viewers know, he recently got his memories back after a terrible ordeal in which Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) was kidnapped by Dr. Henry Shah (Piter Marick). Jack hit his head and all his memories came flooding back at once. That left him incredibly grateful and he instantly snapped back to the “old Jack” who has a big heart and is a loyal friend, husband, and dad.

Now that the “old Jack” is back, he’s feeling pretty overwhelmed. He is in the difficult position of knowing how he treated his friends and family while he had amnesia. Of course, since Jack has been back in Salem for several months operating as the amnesiac version of himself, he’s had plenty of time to cause trouble and alienate the people he loves.

Recently, Jack made amends to Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva). He graciously apologized to her for any hurt that he may have caused her during their short-lived marriage, even though Eve arguably did far more damage to Jack than he did to her. But still he apologized, and he wanted to make things right before the two of them went their separate ways.

Well, according to DOOL spoilers, Jack will soon make another big apology to someone very important to him…Abe Carver (James Reynolds). As DOOL viewers know, Jack ran against Abe for mayor of Salem and ultimately won. But it was a dirty campaign, during which Jack slung a lot of mud in Abe’s direction. He even publicly accused Abe of having an affair with his assistant Sheila Watkins (Tionne Watkins).

Of course, that was all a big lie, but Jack capitalized on a kiss that Abe shared with Sheila – something that Jack and Eve had a secret photographer capture. The photo was then projected on a big screen in the middle of town square to humiliate Abe and ruin his chances of winning the mayoral election – and it appeared to work, since Jack ultimately won the election.

It seems that Jack will have a heartfelt talk with Abe very soon, during which he formally apologizes to his old friend. Abe will probably be gracious about the whole thing, and most of all he’ll just be glad to have his friend back. Salem will surely be a better place with the “old Jack” back, and Abe knows it.

Are you glad that the “old Jack” is back and making things right with Abe? Stay tuned to DOOL and don’t forget to check CDL often for the latest Days of Our Lives spoilers, updates, and news.
