Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Kate Roberts’ (Lauren Koslow) secret will become tougher to keep. DOOL fans know Kate’s in the loop on “Stefano DiMera” aka Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and his latest plans. Kate certainly isn’t a saint, so it hasn’t been all that difficult for her to stay tight-lipped about this so far. She doesn’t care about the pain that Steve’s loved ones have endured and will continue to endure.
Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) was furious when Steve chose to skip Adrienne Kiriakis’ (Judi Evans) funeral. The fact that Steve only sent a card really riled Jack up. Of course, Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) also feels abandoned by Steve. She reflected on Steve signing the divorce papers like they were nothing. Kayla doesn’t think she matters to Steve at all anymore. The truth is she doesn’t as long as “Stefano” is in control.
“Stefano” is the one who snubbed Adrienne on her final farewell and left Kayla feeling so alone. He doesn’t care any more than Kate does, but there’ll indeed be a reason for Kate to feel guilty soon. Days of Our Lives spoilers say a conversation with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will prompt some guilt.
Kate will take a few minutes to catch up with Marlena during the week of December 16-20. Their friendship isn’t on display all that often, but they do have a nice bond. Days occasionally lets Kate and Marlena connect through chats like this or rare-but-oh-so-fun girls’ nights. It’ll be great to see Marlena and Kate in scenes again, but Kate’s secret will hang like a dark cloud over their friendship.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Marlena will open up to Kate – presumably about Hope Brady aka “Princess Gina Von Amberg” (Kristian Alfonso) and all the drama she’s causing. Marlena will most likely bring up the flowers “Stefano” sent as well. By then, Marlena may have some growing fears and suspicions about what “Stefano” has in store.
Since Kate has been in touch with “Stefano” and is part of his secret crew, that’ll bring the guilt we mentioned. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Kate will wrestle with keeping something so huge from Marlena, especially when her friend’s so clearly rattled.
Kate isn’t someone who can be very loyal, so “Stefano” may regret trusting her down the road! However, it looks like Kate will keep her mouth shut for now and allow “Stefano” to continue his plot.
