Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that one NBC soap star offered a goodbye message to cap off an exciting run. Olivia Rose Keegan’s final airdate as Claire Brady was July 9, so she decided to do a sweet farewell post and offer her gratitude. Many DOOL viewers hated to see Claire go, and Keegan clearly hated to leave Salem behind, too.
On Instagram, Keegan put up a fun picture from what looks like her last day on set. She was in a hospital gown just like she was in many of her last scenes. Keegan also had a heartfelt message, which allowed her to reflect on her rewarding time at DOOL.
“Dear Days of Our Lives, Thank you for the best 4 years of my life To everyone who watches the show: I cannot thank you enough for sticking with Claire through the good, bad, and batsh*t,” Keegan said. “Reading everyone’s comments/tweets this past week has been the most overwhelmingly amazing thing— It means more than you know.”
Days watchers have definitely been blowing up social media with praise for Keegan’s performance. She took Claire down a dark and exciting road – with the writers’ help of course! Keegan gave a special out to them for giving her such great material to work with.
“I also owe a huge thank you to the @nbcdays writers for giving me an opportunity to dig my nails into some fascinating material with this past storyline— as well as shine a light onto mental health awareness,” Keegan said. Claire definitely had some touching scenes toward the end with Eve Deveraux (Kassie DePaiva), who reflected on her own struggles and assured Claire suicide was never the answer.
It was also nice to see Claire say goodbye to her family, including Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal). These two used to be best friends, so they both expressed hope that they could get back to that place one day. Hope overall was an important theme during this last chapter of Claire’s journey, which ended with her heading to Bayview.
Keegan wrapped up her post with some kind words about the wonderful people she met at Days. “It would be too difficult to explain how much I love every single person in my @nbcdaysfamily,” Keegan said. “It was a 4 year dream. I met lifelong friends, learned an infinite amount, and simply loved every minute of it. Farewell from Salem’s newest pyro”
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Claire will spend some time getting the treatment she needs, but she could back down the road. The Bayview docs worked wonders for Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson), so there’s certainly hope for Claire. We’ll give you updates as other Days news comes in.
