Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) will be growing closer in the days ahead. These two have already become fast friends and their bond seems to be deepening. Sarah supports Eric in the custody battle over Holly Jonas (Harlow and Scarlett Mallory), and lately the two have been inseparable.
It’s clear that Sarah and Eric like each other very much, and that they are headed toward something more than friendship. Of course, neither Sarah or Eric would likely admit that they are falling for each other at this point.
Sarah is still raw from her nasty breakup with Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder), and Eric is still mourning the death of his beloved Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker). But it’s clear to viewers that there’s a major spark there.
And that spark will soon be readily apparent to someone else…Rex. According to Days of Our Lives spoilers, Rex is headed back to Salem to fight for his relationship with Sarah. It seems that although Rex got Mimi Lockhart (Farah Fath) and their daughter set up with living arrangements in Chicago, he doesn’t plan on staying in Chicago permanently. He’s got his sights set on winning Sarah back.
But one of the first scenes he’ll stumble upon when back in Salem is Sarah cozying up to Eric. It will all probably be innocent, but Rex will definitely notice the sparks fly between Sarah and Eric. It complicates matters that Eric and Rex are brothers, and it looks like TPTB are setting up a Brady-Horton love triangle.
Of course, whether this is an actual love triangle is dependent upon whether Sarah has any interest left in Rex at this point. When Rex was last seen in Salem, Sarah was pretty peeved at him for cheating on her with Mimi and didn’t want him anywhere near her.
Still, it’s hard to turn off feelings, and now that a little time has passed, Sarah may find herself with some residual feelings for Rex. It will be interesting to watch the brothers fight over Sarah, and it may force Sarah to acknowledge her growing feelings for Eric sooner than she might have otherwise.
